I normally take weeks, months or even years to writing reviews, but this one is being done within an hour of being back. You cannot fault this operation. They are brilliant. We rang the night before at @ 7pm and from that moment on we were taken care of. Next morning Jack is there to greet us and we are... More

From booking our tour with Nicole to the day exploring with Jack on the boat we had the most amazing experience! We had originally booked to do the 6hr whale watching but got a complementary upgrade to the 8hr whale watching and it was fantastic! We saw hundreds and hundreds of dolphins, a group of about 20 sea lions, a... More

This is a once in a lifetime experience. We went out in boats of 12 people up the waterway between the island and mainland. We had an amazing grizzly viewing experience, seeing 8 bears in the wild and then Orca on the boatride back. It was one of the highlights of our trip.

I travelled solo to Vancouver Island from Ontario & whale watching was one of my bucket list items. This organization didn't disappoint.... From the great first impression over the phone/email re; booking, to meeting Jack (the skipper) and his lovely wife Cathy who came along that day (Sunday, September 13), to the perfect weather (sunny and 25!), the Orca pod... We went out with Aaron and Nicole on the 9th September. We were so privileged to see 19 bears that morning- truly an experience to remember. The trip was superbly organised with knowledgeable guides (Aaron & Roger from CR and Calvin & Wilson from the Homalco). Before we had even got to the first viewing platform a bear was spotted... One of our main reasons for visiting Vancouver Island was to take a grizzly tour and this one did not disappoint! We were staying in the Parksville area and chose Campbell River Whale/Grizzly Bear Tours due to it being not as far of a drive away from our resort as some of the other tours. We arrived on time, grabbed... More

Absolutely wonderful 8 hrs great guide thanks Jen. Wonderful weather. We saw lots of Orcas snd were in the middle of a pod of about 100 pacific white sided dolphins. Stayed at the Best Western which was also wonderful with their full free breakfast each morning. Lots of interesting stuff up there, never heard of Ripple Rock before for example.
