Kimberley/Cranbrook area has such a variety of great courses that the only way to be fair is to say they are all Super Models! Now you might like blondes more than brunettes but they are all beautiful! I am confident in saying though that Shadow is the Red Head of these East Kootenay Models!

It plays long, and there is lots of sand....but I love the challenge of this course. 5 Stars all the way! Great deal on ladies and mens nights! Best value in the East Kootenay's.

This 18 hole golf course is one of Cranbrook's best kept secret! Hidden away, one does not realize it is there but when you arrive, it is breathtaking. Attention to detail shows every where! Excellent tee boxes, fairways and greens. Modern golf carts with built in GPS. A lovely little pro shop, friendly staff! We loved it here. Challenging with... More

Loved the view, sit on the deck and enjoy. I think the food was good, I was to busy feasting my eye's on the scenery to really tell. Had a very good bottle of wine and the service was good, couldn't ask for a better location.

Golfed this course and really enjoyed it. Good value for money, really nice vistas. Course in good shape, lots of sand traps so watch out. Pretty club house with a nice deck. Also best place to have a glass of wine, huge glass - only $5!

Just finished playing Shadow Mountain and it was simply a treat. The tees and greens were well manicured, and the waste bunkers added a challenge I wasnt expecting. It is similar to Greywolf with it's epic views, but challenging with creative design and uphill par 3's and great rewards for hitting the fairway. An awesome course for any skill level... More

First time I golfed this course I hated it. Probably had a lot to do with how poorly I played. This is not a course for beginners. Played a second time recently and liked it a lot more. Several incredibly gorgeous golf holes with some spectacular views. The course is very very tight, so be prepared to beat up badly... More

This is a very tough and strategic course. I am a 12 handicap and have to agree with the previous reviews that is no where near a "resort" course. Nice easy par 5 to open but a blind and hidden green is a taste of things to come. Next two holes sets the tone that the designer wants one to... More

Course is in great shape and well looked-after, but fairways are extremely tight, and the rough is extremely punishing. Bring lots of balls. Service is poor, snack shack had 3 hot dogs, no onions, only ketchup. Pro-shop guy let people in front of us while we were registering, cart girl had very few beer selections. Price for golf was reasonable... More
