One of my favourite places to golf in the East Kootneys! Love the area and its very peaceful. The clubhouse restaurant also offer a good selection with great food.

Title kind of says it all. We have been golfing the valley for years and it is loaded with great courses. Love St. Eugene's Mission and Wellstone and was excited to try Shadow Mountain. I have no complaints about the course -great shape and most interesting in town! Service? Not so much. What course has no online booking? Twice emailed... More

So much fun to play if you play it smart. Stay away from trouble areas. Play again that day or the next and your green fees are lower. Good food at clubhouse. Very accommodating staff

Very friendly staff, started with reservation, let me know that the greens had been punched as part of the annual course maintenance. Spectacular holes at 15 and 17.Could be hidden gem in the south of the valley

You have to play target golf here. There are lots of bunkers and narrow fairways. We didn't golf our best, but want to play it again now that we know what to avoid. Conditions were awesome and greens were fast and undulating. Teeing off at 15 was beautiful. Fill in half the bunkers and it is a 5 star course.

This really is a Beautifully designed course! The club house has gone through some renovations creating a much larger pro shop. The food is very good and reasonably priced and the friendly staff create an all around pleasant atmosphere!

This was our second trip to this course in the last 3 years. The course was in beautiful shape and not busy at all. Two really interesting elevated tee holes. Named "The Drive" and "The Monster" for good reason. :-) Views are spectacular from many of the holes. A very challenging golf course but very reasonably priced and our pre... More

I have played this course a just few times, compared to others in the area quite a lot. If you are not on top of your game, this course will frustrate the beginner or casual player and gulp golf balls you had stowed far away in your bag. This may cause slower play as players ahead of you may be... More

If your taste for golf runs the likes of playing along the spine of a mountain top then this is your course. This is a punishing test for the recreational player. Myself I prefer a less contrived setting with more natural contours. Shadow Mountain is one of the most carved up bunkered tracks I have ever played. The setting is... More

Kimberley/Cranbrook area has such a variety of great courses that the only way to be fair is to say they are all Super Models! Now you might like blondes more than brunettes but they are all beautiful! I am confident in saying though that Shadow is the Red Head of these East Kootenay Models!
