I'm certain the owners of this sanctuary who fund it themselves, have the very best intentions, and that this centre is neccessary and has saves the lives of the 7 wolves that live there. And for all of that I applaud them. However, there is nothing, but nothing as sad as seeing these animals endlessly pace the fences of their... More

For wildlife lovers this was a treat. While the facility is obviously being run on a shoestring, the staff did a great job of educating. And the wolves cooperated for the public!

Interesting local attraction - family effort run on a limited budget - dedicated to the work they do including educating people about the importance of wolves in the eco-system.

We visited the center on the May long weekend with our 4 year old granddaughter. The adults learned a lot.The talk is to long for the preschooler, but she had a blast playing with the dogs. There were no issues or concerns on our part. The cages are quite large and the animals where content to sleep and play.I would like... More

I don't enjoy seeing wild animals in cages, so I was ambivalent about how I would feel about what is essentially a commercial venture (the owners originally kept wolves for use in the movie industry but then switched to this zoo / information centre, CAD12 entry fee). This said, the enclosures seem an OK size, and the wolves / wolf-dogs... More

The wolves are kept in cages and seemed bored when we arrived as no one else was there. they soon showed a bit more interest when there was an audience. It was a bit sad to see them in captivity but these particular animals have never been in the wild . There were two cubs which had been purchased from... More

We just happened upon this place. It's a little bit out of the way but well worth a visit. Saw a bear cub off the highway on our way out there. There were 6 adult wolves and 2 cubs we could easily see. Dave was the guy who gave us a talk about the place and wolves in general. What... More

We were excited to go see the wolves as my son studied them in school. Unfortunately we never made it out of the parking lot! Our family dog jumped from the car and was attacked by the unleashed "bear dogs" in the parking lot. Let me tell you, it was inadvertent that the dog got out but I was glad... More

Wow! How amazing it was to be able to get so close to these lovey animals, so much information about their behaviour an excellent presentation was given, most of the animals have been saved.A must see, not a large site, but staff very friendly and willing to answer any question you may have.
