Nice small town, downtown. Good to see that all spaces were occupied and active, could see that it is becoming trendy and not dying out. Great town to walk around nice scenery, nice views, older buildings, all well utilized.

The people, stores and food are amazing. A great place where everyone is accepted. There is such an array of various cultures and people it makes this street in Nelson so unique.

Baker street has a vibe unique in small town Canada. While filled with many unique independent restaurants, cafes, and craft stores, what makes this stretch of downtown Nelson most remarkable are the people who walk along it. Some of them are indeed refugees from the 60's and the Hippie culture. But along Baker Street you will find people from all... More

I have been to Nelson many times and it is always a joy to be here, summer or winter. In the winter the skiing and snowboarding is superb (so I am told, can't take part in that sadly due to a dodgy knee) and in the summer hiking is excellent and some is also possible in winter). Baker Street an... More
