Baker Street is like slowing down a couple of steps from the hectic pace of life. It's old brick building from the early 1900's give it real character. It has many unique shops on and just off the street. A few of the restaurants have patios right on the sidewalk and very friendly people serving and frequenting them.

Wide variety of shops with owners taking a lot of pride in being there for customers. Lots of good places to eat as well.

We used to go back every summer for holidays to visit my Nana, cousins, aunt and uncle. 68 years later I'm still going there for holidays and visiting Aunt Daisy and cousins. Baker street has... Really enjoyed walking up and down Baker Street. Neat boutique shops mixed with local staples like pharmacy & hardware. Nice pubs as well. The local bookshop is an independent and has a great selection or regional authors and titles. Arts and crafts co-ops are represented well with pottery to textiles. One caution - Metered parking is all there is and... More

Nice small town, downtown. Good to see that all spaces were occupied and active, could see that it is becoming trendy and not dying out. Great town to walk around nice scenery, nice views, older buildings, all well utilized.

We love walking around the downtown area, there are so many unique trendy shops with things you won't find elsewhere, there is something for everyone! The only downside we found was there are so many panhandlers its a bit overwhelming. A lot are incredibly nice and polite, but some can be very aggressive and it was a bit much being... More
