Enjoy taking our picnic lunch down to the water and watch the cruise ships go by in the summer. Also a great place to walk your pet along the Boardwalk. Early spring/summer mornings a delight.

We live 1/2 hour away so the park is easily accessible. I often take our little dog for summer strolls along the beach front, where she sometimes enjoys a run along the sandy beach during off leash season. Always a relaxing experience where folks are generally friendly and where strangers greet strangers with a friendly 'hi' and a smile. Highly... More

This is definitely worth a visit when visiting Parksville. It's right beside the ocean with heaps of activities from a kids playground, board walk, beach (when the tide is out you can walk out a long way. Volleyball, sand castle competitions (in season) food trucks, bathroom facilities and picnic tables. Unbelievably packed for the July 1 fireworks.

Bring your grandkids! They will love it but won't want to leave. You'll need towels and changes of clothes for the summer children's water park - awesome! The beach goes on forever when the tide is out - packed with people in the summer. The fall and winter are great as well - the boardwalk is spectacular with vistas of... More

This is definitely one of my favourite walking spots along the waterfront in downtown Parksville! The boardwalk is wide and flat, an ideal place if you are pushing a baby stroller or an elderly person in a wheelchair. I often see people just parked beside the walkway enjoying the views from their car and there is lots of parking and... More

Great way to spend an afternoon with the kids. The playground is well stocked. When tired on playing easy to walk to the beach or boardwalk

I have enjoyed this park for the last 30 years. It is always updated, well-kept and family friendly. evening concerts in the summer months. the best children's playground in the central island.

Parksville is so blessed to have this waterfront Park for all to enjoy. Especially enjoy the evenings when I walk my dogs along the far fields to the water & labyrinth. Birds abound & the sound of kids playing @ the Skate Park or the Playground give it a real community feeling. Amazing how many folks have dogs~Nice dogs~ Friendly... More
