There is very little to not like about this park, it is a seaside park with a kind of water park for young children, and a lovely safe sandy beach where the tide goes out for miles and there is little to no tidal rip ever. Due to its large size it can accommodate hundreds of people, with a large... More

This community park is a great place for everyone. It is on beautiful Parksville Beach as well as having views of Mount Arrowsmith in the background. There is a very good board walk for all ages and abilities that enables visitors to walk from one end of the beach to the other. Parksville Beach is sandy, safe for swimming with... More

This park provides a pleasant place to visit the coast with good facilities . Families can take children to a good play area and walk the beach. As ghe psrkland is nearby it attracts groups who can enjoy the chance to play games.

Our son was super excited once he saw the size of the huge playground area. Lots of slides, see-saws, swings, zip line and places to climb. There is also a large sand pit area just beyond the water park for little ones to build sand castles. Had a blast at the water park, there's even a water slide. Had so... More

Been here a few times over the years for everything for swimming to playing in the play park. This is a beautiful place with great views of the mountains and the Salish Sea. Best time to come is when the tide is out, but be prepared to walk a little from the parking. Really recommend spending a nice summer day... More

tide was out, so you can have your choice of where you want to park your chair and plant your toes in the sand! I love it because it is peaceful if you want it to be, as there is lots of room for thousands if necessary. I pack a lunch and spend hours either reading my book or going... More

My family (wife, 5 year old, 8 month old, and myself) along with my sister in law and her 2 year old, were looking to see if there was more access to the beach in Parksville. We stumbled across this park and right away my 5 year old freaked out with the size of the playground. We spent a good... More

This is a great place for all ages. There is a playground for kids, a skate park, great swimming, huge beach, big grass field and a concession that is open during summer. :) It seems to be pet friendly as well with nice paved walking trails around the park and ocean.
