Fabulous park

My son's favorite park yet - he loved the zip line especially. We loved that it was free and the beach was fantastic.

I take my 9 and 13 year old grandkids to this park. They like the options it offers but it is often crowded. It needs to be expanded with an area for the older boarders that need more challenges and where their language and influence ( ie smoking) is not detrimental to the younger children.

the locals should be commended for setting up this (and keeping in good condition) park. Absolutely splendid views!!!! Water reseeding drastically/tidal to give quite a huge amount of sand to walk on, and explore. The park has a skate and bike ramp area, they were setting up for a huge beach volley ball tourney. Dogs are on leash, but great... More

We were lucky enough to be on Victoria Island Vancouver for my grandsons wedding last year in July while this was on, The sand sculptures were at Parkville Community Park, they were absolutely amazing, such detail and variety of subjects, and you could vote for the one you thought was best. I had many photos but they have advertising showing... More

Plenty of things to do for whatever it is you wanted to do-soccer, box lacrosse, play grounds, beach. Never saw the skate park though. Really nice park.

The boardwalk was nice but very busy. The ocean was really nice. The park has huge kids play area with a water park in warmer months. Lots of dog walkers here.

The bored walk is nice same as the beach. The playground is amazing for the kids. But if you are just going for the beach go to Rathtrevor Beach Provancal Park, Its not as busy as the Community Park

In March for hopefully just a few days the Herrings migrate past Parksville. As does the fishing trawlers, seals, sea lions, seagulls, and the bald eagles all enjoying the meal. At night you can hear the seals and sea lions at least a kilometer in-land (-: Good park to watch them from but you will probably start at French creek... More

Great for all ages, skate park, playground, soccar/baseball field, waterpark, picnic areas, tennis courts and a huge sandy volleyball court .... and of course the beach + boardwalk.
