Awesome place to visit with kids. Cheese sampling, a large picnic area, lots of cows, a couple horses, rabbits. Big tractors that our two year old Grandson loved. In summer they have rides in a covered wagon. We were there early season and it was a little muddy but had our rubber boots. There is also a winery there but... More

The owners of this cheese and wine making emporium lived in Switzerland and when it came time to return to Canada asked their kids what they were interested in pursuing. They said "cheese" - and the rest is history. Some of their cheeses are award-winning. But the fun is in visiting the farm, talking to the family and the hired... More

Delicious variety of cheeses produced fresh. Quaint little store with all the fixin's for a cheese and wine festivity! We go for the cheese. This is truly a farm to table operation. The ability to tour the farm animals can be a lot of fun for both young and young at heart. You get the full farm experience at this... More

The little qualicum cheeseworks is located with the mooberry winery and has all of their cheeses out for sampling. The variety of cheese is extensive and quite tasty. A little store also carries a variety of crackers and other goods for sale as well. Their soft cheeses are especially tasty.

Small family business open to the public. Supplies a number of stores in the area with specialy cheese. Watch it being made. If you want to prepare for a special picnic in the area and like Greek Salad buy your Feta here. It's more like the real Greek Feta cheese. (Not so salty) The winery sells fruit wines that make... As well as many great cheeses, they have a nice gift shop. The farm is set up for kids with informative kid type signs

As a local who live within a 15 minute walk of this location, I would not give my blessing as a "must see" when visiting the Parksville area. I have been a couple of times and have left saying, "what is this place"? I see young families who think they are going to a petting farm, but there are no... More

Little Qualicum Cheeseworks offers their locally made cheeses and fruit wines plus farm animals for the kids. Their cheeses are really good and I personally LOVE their Brie cheese! Their wines are very good as well! Upon arriving at the farm just follow the signs to their lovely store that offers cheese, cheese accessories, wines, sausage, some meats, and more.... More

Nice place to take the kids for a little side trip and look at the farm animals. The cheese is very good but very pricy. I love their blue cheese. I have tasted all their wines and Iam not too impressed at $18.00 a bottle. The jazz concerts in the park with wine and cheese in the summer are great.

Thank you for your review. Our wines are fruit wines so not for everyone's taste, although we do try to produce a good variety to please most people. Our Jazz Tea and Cheesecake event is a lot of fun, and the Blue Claire is one of my favourites too! More

Our grandchildren came for a Thanksgiving visit so we decided to take them, ages 2 and 4, for their first visit to a working farm. They had a lot of fun getting up close and personal to the cows, pigs and rabbits on the farm while my son and his wife spent half an hour sampling the artisan cheeses and... More
