This is a wonderful place to visit with kids! You can watch the cows being milked, and then go on into sample some of their cheese. You can also sample some of their berry wine, the blueberry is my favorite. We go often with our granddaughter and she loves to pet the rabbits, and was able to help feed a... More

Summer months are a great time to take the children there to see a working farm and cheese being made. The cheese is second to none. They have interesting condiments as well which I buy regularly.

The sampling area really allows you to bring home some cheese that you will truly love and enjoy perhaps with one of their wines. Which are there to sample as well. The livestock are a great attraction especially for young children. The walk around the farm is lovely too if it hasn't been raining otherwise wear your boots. When you... More

Visit a working farm with your kids - see cows, rabbits, fowl and more. Buy some of their farm made cheese. Sample their farm made fruit wines. Great for the whole family!

Spent a fun afternoon wandering the farm and enjoying the local flavours. The blackberry wine is delightful and there's a nice little surprise on your cork if you choose to purchase a local tipple.

Didn't expect to find a working farm that you could walk through by yourself (with a map as your guide). Animals you can see and pet (and smell). The workers on the farm interact with you, answer your questions, and direct you to the more interesting parts of their operation as it is happening. The cheese - we tasted every... More

A visit to this cute farm is such a fun experience for all ages, but especially for families. Lots animals to see, you can watch the milking and cheese making and when you are all finished visit the shop to sample delicious cheeses and fruit wines made onsite. You can also purchase farm grown meats and homemade sausages

The Cheeseworks is a bit off the beaten path, and requires some navigational skills to find, but finding it is well worth the effort. Plenty of goods manufactured on-site (and not just cheese). Free sampling. Also some local goods for sale in their store. You also get to see the cows from which the cheese originates.
