I took my handicapped daughter in her wheelchair she enjoyed seeing the animals and the neat store where we bought cheese and then enjoyed that for the rest of our holiday. Families were picnicking and enjoying the farmyard.

Wine tasting and cheese tasting under one roof already seems perfect plus there's stuff for the kids to do! This is just a few minute drive from Rathtrevor Beach and definitely worth adding to the itinerary. The cheese is amazing! It is easy to spend an hour or more there and impossible to leave empty handed as the cheese is... More

It was interesting place to go. If your there at the right time you can see then making their cheeses. They also offer wine tasting of each kind they make. We stop by every year and always purchase bottles of wine and a few of their cheeses. It's all organic and has a very unique flavor. I would say it's... More

This place is a super cute little farm to visit. When we were there, we saw horses, cows, rabbits and new baby calves born just a few days prior to our visit. There is a little trail you can walk around the back fields of the property and see the cows. Yummy cheese to try as well as some fruit... More

Fantastic locally made cheeses and wine. All are available for sampling which is great but also makes it harder to narrow down your choices, because you want it all. The berry wines are very interesting and unique. Also, there's lots of kids stuff if you're into that.

We had a lovely drive to find this family run farm in Parksville. Here you can wander through the farm, look at the animals, the fields and various buildings. The highlight is the little store where you can taste the many cheeses made on site and sample berry wines as well. Families would enjoy a couple of hours here.

Little Qualicum Cheeseworks is a wonderful place for all the family. The farm animals are there to see as well as an area to pet the animal. The best part is the fresh cheese made on site, as well as the wonderful meats and berry wines. A fun place to spend an hour or two.

I love wine and visiting wineries, however I find winery visits not enjoyable with kids. They are bored, so you can't enjoy the tastings. This place has things to occupy older and younger kids. My 8 year old enjoyed the animals. My teenager enjoyed the cheese tasting. I enjoyed the wine, the cheese and the farm. All the wines and... More

Qualicum Cheeseworks offers a wide variety of cheeses made right on site. They have free samples of all their cheeses to try before you buy. It is also a working farm so you can wander into the barns to see their different farm animals.
