Visited Revelstoke Jan 2012, deep powder, plenty of terrain, no queues & ski hire on the resort was the best I've experienced. This is an up and coming resort with more top class accomodation being developed at the base & I hear a new lift is planned in the near future to open up a bigger expanse of terrain. If... More

The view and the installations (this beeing brand new) are awesome. Snow was great, which will always help your appreciation of a resort. But I did not find the terrain as challenging as Kicking Horse, and the best terrain requires a very steep hike. More

Revelstoke Mountain is a fairly new development. There are currently two beautifully appointed condo buildings, an exotic wine bar, restaurant and well stocked coffee shop. The condos are of modern design with great kitchens, balconies, fireplaces, huge outdoor pools and hot tubs. One can see the potential of a top end ski village emerging. The charming old town of Revelstoke... More

This mountain has only four lifts, which i thought odd at first until you see that the majority of the runs are very long, and very steep. This is NOT a hill for beginners or those who want to learn! And make sure you are in shape for this mountain - it was a thigh burner. The snow shows the... More

This place seemed like the ideal resort for snowboarders. Note: I'm a skier and could have enjoyed my day a little more. The runs are great, just how I like it for steepness and lack of moguls where I was skiing, but we were there late in the season and the snow wasn't the greatest... crusty in the morning and... More

39 cm of new snow overnight. What a Day!!!!! Only one big line to get up to the upper mountain. Then the crowd dispersed into the new powder. Skied untracked runs all day. More

Probably not the best for a family vacation, but plenty to offer for advanced/expert skiers. Snow is great, even if it hasn't snowed for days. Powder can be epic, but everyone is there for that so expect the entire mountain to be skiied out in a day after a big dump. More
