This is a nice little musuem located in Revelstoke. It seems the the upper floor changes its theme every so often. Downstairs there is lots of history of Revelstoke. As Revelstoke was a CPR town, you can guess a lot went on during its early life. There are pictures and stories of the paddle wheelers that plied the columbia river... More

This is a charming little museum that helps you to better understand the place where you are visiting. Good for kids as well. You only need 20-30min.

This could be a great visitor's center; however, the movie is outdated, no gift shop, the ranger at the desk seemed uninterested. A good place to use the rest room and to purchase your park pass but do not expect more than that.

Hello. I wanted to point out that this review seems to be referring to the wrong property. Based on the description, it appears that you are reviewing the Interpretive Centre at Glacier National Park, and not Revelstoke Museum and Archives. If you did visit our facility, we would welcome a review from you. Thank you. More

I'm not a big history buff, but it was neat to browse the displays and learn about the history of Revelstoke. The museum is well appointed and there are a lot of things to look at.

do not be fooled by the guide books in the area, The description of this museum does not do it justice. We did not plan to visit this museum but due to the time of day & our current location we figured we would pop in & have a look. There is a good collection of exhibits & i really... More

If you are visiting Revelstoke the Museum should be a must do while you are in town. The Museum has a varied collection of artifacts of Revelstoke and the area that will give you a much greater appreciation of what the area was like in bygone years. It is a relatively small museum so a lot of time need not... More

The Revelstoke Museum is a seemingly random assortment of old stuff with the occasional explanation of the relevance to the area. Worth looking at if you have 45 minutes to kill.

the museum itself is small but has some cool stuff. nothing you haven't seen before if you've been alive since the late 19th century, though. my favorite part were the old school photo prints available in the gift shop...old ski jump pics, guys in fur coats going hunting, that kind of stuff. a good place to grab random souvenirs for... We enjoyed this museum, there was a lot there for a small town. We especially liked the scavenger hunt for the kids, and the other interactive exhibits. The people working there were very friendly and were happy to answer my children's' questions. We went during the kids' spring break and were happy to find it open (several others weren't unfortunately).
