A bit of a hike, but the views are stunning and the trek is worth it. Pathways can be quite hilly and rocky, so mind where you walk, we spent about 90 inutes up there and lived it

What a drive! It takes you via a series of switchbacks right upto the top. There is ample parking on the top, and some lovely trails to walk. Mostly snowed in when we visited but still managed to walk some of the trails. The views are magnificent and absolutely worth the visit. Do not miss.

The mountains in the Rocky's are beautiful but generally not accessable by normal people. Here you can drive up. Good road condition with several great viewing points. Unfortunately I was too late to hike around the summit.

Nice drive. The shuttle to the top wasn't running so that was unfortunate. The walk to the summit was 20 minutes but it was pouring and we'd been in the rain too much already today. Pretty viewpoints to stop and see along the way and wildflowers line the road.

We drove up to Winterforest at 12 Km and had a lovely view. Road was closed to go higher. So we stopped at all vistas and trails on the way down, including Monashae which had waterfalls and rainforesty area. we were told we might see mama bear and cubs but they already dispersed. You need to have a national parks... More

Gorgeous views and wild flowers. Lots of walks and trekking. Definitely worth a visit!!! The staff who watch over the park are also very helpful and informative.

Beautiful drive up the mountain with amazing views of the city and river at every bend, what else could you ask for? But the meadows full of wildflowers in full bloom leave you wanting to stay "in the sky"!

Even in mid July we could only drive as far as the first carpark as there was still 3m of snow higher up the mountain. We stopped at various viewpoints along the way and got beautiful panoramic views to the mountains and Revelstoke below. We walked around to Balsam Lake which is pretty with the trees reflected off the water.... More

I was out doing the Banff, Lake Louise, Jasper and Hyder Alaska road trip. I also covered Yoho to Revelstoke. I was doing this over 2 weeks plus from Spokane, Wa. in a rental car. The fee is included as part of the Natl Park daily fee that I had already paid. Otherwise I think it is about $10 a... More
