No need to consider Victoria every time you are looking for entertainment or convention/wedding space. Charlie White Theatre features first rate entertainment and the Town of Sidney offers a nice alternative to big city conventions.

This is a very nice community hall, used for all sorts of activities, but it's not an 'attraction' in the sense of a place to visit. If there's something interesting on, it's a good venue, with comfortable seats and a good sound system and so on, but it's not a place to put on a list of 'things to do...

The children's faces were priceless when they entered the Bodine Hall at the Mary Winspear Centre. Some children came dressed as their favorite Disneyland character, others had their faces painted by the Youth Employment Program students and of course Santa arrived to welcome them. Truly a magical afternoon for the children.
