Wow, we did a 2 hr rental in September and saw an astonishing amount of wildlife on an easy paddle around the harbor area. Porpoises were feeding near us, sea otters climbing onto rocks to bask, curious seals followed us and popped heads out, shore birds diving. A very small operation so be sure to call ahead. A very easy...

Do to a communication mixup, my family group of nine from Alberta came out to an empty dock on the wrong day. I phoned Marsha, a co-owner, who promptly called out two staff members to rush out to meet us. As there was time pressure to get our tour in before sunset, Marsha talked me through some pre-preparation steps to...

The Sunset Kayak Tour was the best kayaking trip I've ever taken. We saw beautiful scenery and wildlife (bald eagles, kingfishers and seals). Our guide was experienced and took good care of us. She even took pictures of the trip and emailed them to us afterwards. I definitely recommend A Paddle in the Park Kayaking!

Marsha is such a rare breed--professional and...

Three if us took the Sunset Trip about 2 weeks ago and it was simply wonderful! We saw eagles, seals, otters, and multitiudes of birds. Our guide was fun to be out with and kept us intertained with stories. We would highly recommend going out with A Paddle In the Park. It was a blast and a half. :)

We saw loads of wildlife - seals, and otter, bald eagle,...

What a perfect location to kayak from. Islands to explore. Wildlife to see. All this from Sidney,BC. Just at the north end of town. Parking, hotel nearby. Must bring a camera, in a zip bag, on a neck band. Compact. Long zoom lens the best. I was slightly over dressed, shorts would do, windbreaker a good idea. Runners/sandals OK
I...
