Don't miss a walk in this gorgeous park!

Peaceful and brimming with old growth trees, a pleasant experience awaits you. I've lived in the area most of my life and the park's beauty still amazes me.

The relatively unknown town jewel. My favourite place for trail running - watch for the 10k "humongously hilly" in late summer. The developed section of the park is at the lower end off Brunswick, while more remote trails are at the top of Wood and Young streets. Visit the falls, Hemlock and Vibert trails, xcountry ski in winter, mushroom picking... More

Wow, we had no idea what to expect when we arrived and parked in the car park in our massive RV (plenty of parking available by the way!) but this place exceeded our expectations! The waterfalls are spectacular (maybe less so if there has been less rainfall). We loved climbing Jacob's ladder and we just throughly enjoyed our visit here.... More

Navigating Truro was a pain but worth it. The park is free, has a variety of long and short trails with various difficulties and has great views. I was also blown away with how clean it is. I'm used to parks in cities having Tim Hortons cups tossed here and there and the occasional dog poop in a bag. This... More

Every time I go to Victoria Park, I find that it gets better and better. Most recently, I noticed that there are new signs to show the directions to different trails. Jacob's Ladder is an old favorite and worth climbing up. Take you time if you need! It is a steep ladder. The winding path to the waterfall is serene... More

Liked the whole park. The locals should feel lucky to have this so close to them. Plenty of trails. Nice green space within the city limits.

The park is spacious, clean and full of thing to see. The falls actually had water flowing as a few of the boards were removed from the dam.

Great walking trails, public pool and tons of picnic and play areas. Bring your picnic basket or bbq and spend the day. The pool has a clean change room but make sure to check the open times so you do not miss them. Some of the trails are not for young kids as we ended up carring ours for most... More

The town has done a great job maintaining the park and adding new trails. THe falls are beautiful. THere are miles of trails to walk or bike. THere is a good size playground for little kids and older ones. MY kids loved our time here and didn't want to leave.

Nice walk to waterfalls. Has great playground, pool area. Looks like elaborate trail system with lots of well designed stairs.
