I've been coming to Victoria Park my entire life - uncommon beauty in a common setting. There are miles of hiking trails, two beautiful waterfalls, and a nice play park for the kids.

Victoria Park must be at the top of every visitor's list of places to see in Truro. It is truly a sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. I cannot think of anyone in any condition who could not find something worthwhile in a visit to Victoria Park!

Although it was a dull day when there, the park is lovely. It has easy or challenging routes - including Jacob's Ladder - a steep staircase up the side of the hill. The water levels were low when we were there so the waterfalls were not much of a falls. However, the short hike was nice to stretch the legs.

We mainly stopped here to connect with family and take a stroll, so admittedly didn't see much of the park on this trip. However, there were supposed to be Wild Blueberry Festival events happening. All we saw was some live music. The music was good, but where were the wild blueberry festival vendors? No one selling jam, pie, muffins, pints... More

The park holds many natural features such as old growth hemlock, Carboniferous stone outcroppings, spectacular gorge and waterfall along with extensive hiking trails.

A lovely gorge with easy to very challenging paths to follow. Several waterfalls where kids can go for a dip. Nice family spot.

We live in Truro but never tire of Victoria Park. Beautiful scenery and lots of little activities for the whole family. Concerts in the park; movies in the park; and live theatre in the park just I name a few. Be sure to make a visit to Victoria Park at least once!!

- very nice park but I went for a walk on one of the trails and unfortunately, there was no map at the beginning so I couldn't decide how far to go along it. I went for a short walk and turned back. If I had known the length it would have been better. Some maps would be handy if... More
