We attended a dance competition in the Arts Centre for student dancers. There were lots of short performances, with students from across the province attending plus family. The venue was great for allowing the large groups of dancers to enter and exit the theatre and stage quickly, and for providing good seating for family and friends. The washrooms were clean... More

Everybody should see a show at the Brockville Arts Center. It's a great looking place and you feel relaxed and "at home". The theater is set up in a way that results in no bad seats. Acoustics in this building are excellent...making you feel that your part of the show....connected to the performers. Some of the shows I've seen there... More

Beautiful older building in Brockville. There isn't a bad seat in the house. We saw Guys and Dolls.... remarkable, entertaining and a lot of fun. It is hard to believe that the actors and singers are local talent. Well worth the price of a ticket.

I love the size. Probably not a bad seat in the whole place. I also love the staff, so warm and friendly.

Restored 1858 opera house is tastefully restored and the seats are comfortable. The theatre seats about 700, and was nearly full for this special event.

One of my favorite entertainments. The variety offered is outstanding from concerts, plays etc etc. The renovations are lovely. Incredible sound system. I am a regular to visit their amazing plays with such talented performers. I was also impressed with the play "Grease".Of course there is a bar open during break with a wonderful staff. Not to mention the various... More

Recently saw a musical review that was magic. Comfortable seats and great acoustics. Backing band and main performers were excellent, high energy and if you closed your eyes you would think the original artists were on stage.

Just saw a high-school production of Grease here on the weekend, and have to say, I was thoroughly impressed with the "new and improved" Brockville Arts Centre. I don't think there is a bad seat in the house! The lobby is lovely, and elegant, with many wonderful items of artwork from local artisans on display, and a beautiful baby grand... More

This is Brockville's cultural centre. Plays, musicals, concerts and all types of theatrical events occur here. An Opera House built in 1858 and recently renovated is a cultural jewel in the city of the Thousand Islands.
