Just saw a high-school production of Grease here on the weekend, and have to say, I was thoroughly impressed with the "new and improved" Brockville Arts Centre. I don't think there is a bad seat in the house! The lobby is lovely, and elegant, with many wonderful items of artwork from local artisans on display, and a beautiful baby grand... More

This is Brockville's cultural centre. Plays, musicals, concerts and all types of theatrical events occur here. An Opera House built in 1858 and recently renovated is a cultural jewel in the city of the Thousand Islands.

We recently saw the Eagles tribute band Hotel California here and the facility is outstanding. Great seating , great sound and the staff is very friendly and helpful. A bar is open during the show halftime break.

This old theatre is a charming place to watch a show. The theatre itself is spacious with enough leg room for most people in most seats. The lobby includes a bar, a different art exhibit every time I visit, and a grand piano that is sometimes played before shows and at intermission. The arts centre attracts top-notch performers and performances... More

The accoustics in this theatre are marvelous. We have had top named performers , well known productions such as Joseph's Amazing coat, and movie night specials. The sound, comfortable seating and the atmosphere of this old theatre is wonderful

This is a really beautiful Arts Centre. The decor inside takes you back in time while the exhibitions of art and jewelry showcase the talents of local artists and artisans. I had the please of seeing "The Butler" while visiting Brockville. It is such a classy venue to watch a movie in.

I actually go the arts centre about once a week and I love it there! I love it when I'm performing and being entertained! It's so comfortable and the view from every seat is good! They also (when there are shows) have a nice bar it has been renovated but it's also nostalgic, they have done an excellent job in... More

Theatre was a decent size with pretty good sound. Parking at rear of building was a great asset. I joined the BAC Society and now receive notice of all current and future events in time to consider visiting from Ottawa ( one hour or so away). Packages are available through the BAC website for Rooms and Theatre. Restaurants are within... More

The concert, Roy Orbison, the friendly staff, clean washrooms, very comfortable seats a huge plus. There was nothing I disliked about the Brockville Art Centre.

Brockville Concert Association (www.brockvilleconcert,ca) brings Jazz and classical series to the Arts Centre which is a beautifully renovated historic building (has been a fire station and a market).. The theatre boasts a 1927 Steinway Grand and has been bringing the best national and international artists to Brockville since 1948 - incredible for a small town! Recently re-renovated the theatre has... More
