Upper Canada Village is a small town that is still set in the year 1866. The staff, other than those selling the entrance tickets are all dressed in period costume and provide information about what life was like in this region of Canada in the 1860s. The previously posted review by Sudriveraine is excellent, so there is not much I can add. I have been to a number of these historical villages in various countries and in my opinion, Upper Canada Village ranks up there with the best. Upper Canada Village is one of my favourite attractions in Ontario. It is a village depicting life in Ontario in the mid 19th century, created using mainly buildings used during that period that had to be moved at the time of the St. Lawrence Seaway's construction.
