My husband and I just spent two weeks in Spain, France, and Italy. We were so impressed with this little town and its beach. Yes, it is a small town and things close early, but it is cute and friendly. The beach is wide, clean, and very popular during the day. Ice cream, chocolates, and coffee are one block away.... More

Parking meters every where , not cheep , most places 2 $ every half hour. meter maids every block. Be prepared to feel you are in Toronto. Years ago it was a pleasant place to enjoy the water.... beach etc. now it out of reach for normal families ... If you got the big bucks come on down.

An excellent n serene town 100 kms from Toronto on Montreal highway with a peaceful waterfront parking just 50 metres from it. Wonderful walking & biking trails. A weekend can be spend in your rental RVs parked just facing lakefront & marina.

I love this beach, plenty of fine sand, nice attractions nearby, clean washrooms, lifeguards on duty. The only con could be finding a parking spot nearby. You have to arrive early to find one, otherwise you'll have to walk a few blocks but no big deal.

Great beach! Had no interest in making the trek to Wasaga on Canada Day weekend and was so thankful that we tried Cobourg Beach instead. It's great blend of beach, splashpad/playground for the kids and proximity to Toronto. Very family friendly. Was fun over the long weekend as they have a waterfront festival with concession stands, midway rides on the... More

The town does a good job keeping the beach in nice condition unfortunately the folks who come in from out of town are VERY rude and messy. There seems to be a different event at the beach most weekends. be warned the water is cold.

Great outdoor feeling of both peace, tranquility and at the same time bustling with friendly faces. Cobourg had their 51st Highland Games June 2014 at Victoria Park with the beach in the forefront. The boardwalk links from the beach/ park to the Marina. Boats from all over are continually docking to enjoy all that Cobourg freely offers. Great location!

I absolutely love this beach. I don't go for the swimming but just the atmosphere. Especially on July 1st weekend, the atmosphere is awesome. There is a fair on the pier. The beach is jam packed with travelers from near and far. There are lots of booths to buy pretty much anything you could want and fireworks to end the... More

Good, well-maintained clean sandy beach. Can be a bit crowded on a nice summer day. Volleyball etc. Close to shopping, restaurants etc. Shortage of changing facilities and rest-rooms
