Redesigned by famed Canadian Tom McBroom, the front nine skirts Peninsula Lake while the more demanding back nine uses most clubs in your bag. Driving range and practice green get you started; an all-ages Golf Academy led by one of Canada’s Top 50 instructors will keep you on course. « less

Very poor signage, no directional signs to find the bag drop and no-one around to help. Pro Shop was hard to find, you go in the back door beside the mechanical room. The course was beautiful but the first impression was terrible

The course at Deerhurst Lakeside is a part 65 executive course, offering something for every skill level. The scenery is beautiful, around Pen Lake, and the course is well maintained. Greens and tees are cut short, fairways are good, and the rough is, well, rough. My only complaint of the course is that the sand traps were quite hard and... More

We played just about every day during our stay. It was extremely well kept and lush. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The course was not too long but yet challenging. The views were picturesque. We even saw some deer!

The course was on good shape, but the pace was slow. Finally someone asked the slow pokes to stop and things picked up.

We played the 18 holes at Lakeside Golf Course. It only has one pare 5 - the rest of the holes were par 3 and 4. The asset of the course is the lake and the stunning views thereon.

Just returned home from a long weekend in the area. Eight of us played Lakeside twice in a single day and were absolutely delighted from start to finish. The staff went to great effort to get us out on the course which was completely underwater earlier in the week. Considering the extended winter and wet conditions leading up to the... More

This is a great course for both the rookie golfer and mid handicappers, as you get to test all of your shots. Having a Par 5 and Par 4's on this executive style course, and long par 3 holes makes for a challenging round. The quality of the turf is also very good. Recommend if you do not have 4... More

really enjoyed the golf course - not too challenging and beautiful scenery around the lake. Watch out for buggy season though!
