Two youngsters 8 and 4 we spent a morning at the museum cuz they wanted to show their YaYa everything they had done the week before at Museum Camp. There was a King Tut exhibit on and they could not wait to show me Justine the Mummy. Fun interactive exhibits we spent a lot of time at the boats and... More

The permanent exhibits are great for kids - from toddlers to pre-teens. There's a toddler-only hands-on explore area and a whole floor of interactive activities for older kids. They have organized crafts and demonstrations at certain exhibits. The current temporary exhibit is about Egypt and they have a 3000-year-old mummy on display. At the end of the Egypt exhibit, you... If I understand correctly, themuseum (no, I don't know why it's all one word!) building is in it's third incarnation: it was once a department store, then it was a children's museum and now it is just a museum. The interior architecture is well done and it's worth a visit just to see that. There is a total of four... More

The good: The museum is decent and the staff are friendly. They have several permanent exhibits that are great for little ones and the majority of travelling exhibits are pretty awesome, too. I like the toddler room, which is recommended for small toddlers and crawlers- most patrons are respectful of this so you can let the little ones run amok... More

The Museum seems to be split into two different parts. There's the children's museum, and the adult exhibition. When we were there, they had an Egypt exhibition which my wife thoroughly enjoyed, though it seemed a fraction of what it could have been. The children's exhbit my two year old really enjoyed, but there was no clear indication of how... More

Went to The Museum again on Sunday afternoon to see their new exhibit. I enjoyed it! There was a lot to see with the replicated artifacts. Pretty cool to get an opportunity to see history come to life. I would go again! My only concern was the information cards at some of the exhibits-they were tiny and not exactly at... More

I was excited to be taking my grandsons to the Egypt exhibit which has just opened. The artifacts themselves were fine, lots of good King Tut stuff, but many aspects of the museum and the display were not good at all. First off,at the admission desk, they charged extra for both credit and debit cards, which I don't think is... More
