I took my daughter and Son here with my husband on the weekend. They absolutely loved it. It isn't a big museum at all but what they have for children and families is nice. I like the hands on building toys they have and we loved the star show. Our other favourite attraction would be the shadow wall. I highly... More

Underage Mayhem! The event was described as an "All Ages Event" 97% were either underage or barely 19. I am no prude but this event was poorly handled. By 11 pm - kids were vomiting everywhere.

Visiting the place at 4 in the evening was the only flip side of the visit. I loved the fact that it was small enough for you to be able to give individual attention to each artifact placed as part of Unwrapping Egypt yet big enough to give you an informed impression of that era and how they came about... My brother was here from Australia. We went to the museum and were very intrigued with what we saw. Very impressive.

Two youngsters 8 and 4 we spent a morning at the museum cuz they wanted to show their YaYa everything they had done the week before at Museum Camp. There was a King Tut exhibit on and they could not wait to show me Justine the Mummy. Fun interactive exhibits we spent a lot of time at the boats and... More

The permanent exhibits are great for kids - from toddlers to pre-teens. There's a toddler-only hands-on explore area and a whole floor of interactive activities for older kids. They have organized crafts and demonstrations at certain exhibits. The current temporary exhibit is about Egypt and they have a 3000-year-old mummy on display. At the end of the Egypt exhibit, you... If I understand correctly, themuseum (no, I don't know why it's all one word!) building is in it's third incarnation: it was once a department store, then it was a children's museum and now it is just a museum. The interior architecture is well done and it's worth a visit just to see that. There is a total of four... More

The good: The museum is decent and the staff are friendly. They have several permanent exhibits that are great for little ones and the majority of travelling exhibits are pretty awesome, too. I like the toddler room, which is recommended for small toddlers and crawlers- most patrons are respectful of this so you can let the little ones run amok... More

The Museum seems to be split into two different parts. There's the children's museum, and the adult exhibition. When we were there, they had an Egypt exhibition which my wife thoroughly enjoyed, though it seemed a fraction of what it could have been. The children's exhbit my two year old really enjoyed, but there was no clear indication of how... More
