Attended "Weekend at Ralph's" (ukulele festival). The staff at the MCC did a great job (with assistance of attendees) of converting the large room from a theatre, to a yoga studio, to a dining room. MCC has a cafe (Roxy) that serves snacks and beverages. Lots of tables and seating available for you to enjoy your purchase. MCC provided rooms... More

The Crest Gallery juried show recently was great! Also, saw Sylvia Tyson in concert, Sue Miller/Halyna Mordowanec-Regenbottom from Sky to Shore.

My wife and I have been to the MCC at least half a dozen times to see music, plays and fine art. Every time we go we are always very pleased with the quality of the presentations and impressed by the facilities of both the theatre and the hall. The art gallery is also wonderfully open and bright. Such a... More

The ultra-modern Midland Cultural Centre (MCC) sits kitty-corner to the historic limestone Library, a lovely study in contrast and clever site location. Inside the MCC, the Roxy Café is a constant hub of activity, with actors, artists and townspeople alike dropping in for chats, delicious treats or to take in an event or visit the art gallery. Few towns anywhere... More

We have attended several events at the MCC and are always impressed with the quality and diversity of entertainment there. The Atrium is a comfortable place to have a drink before the show and to meet other patrons. We really enjoyed a Day in the Life with Paul Beeston. He was warm and engaging, and Fred Hacker conducted and excellent... More

MCC is one of the jewels in Midland's cultural crown. Across from the library, steps from the picturesque harbour, MCC offers superb local theatre, galleries of local artists, varieties of musical entertainment, art classes and an art shop. The open foyer is a beatiful space to sit, relax and enjoy a light meal or drink. Well worth the visit.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Leahy Family concert that the family put on. The entire family is very talented and kept us entertained for the entire event. Loved the dancing and singing, especially the smallest of them all. The Neil Young tribute band was a treat as well. The person that portrayed Neil Young, looked like him, sang like him and... More

I have attended various meetings, theatre performances and music shows at the MCC, and am absolutely pleased with the quality of the audio, seating arrangements, facilities such as washrooms, etc. The art gallery adds that special touch, and the gift shop has some really unique gifts. I have not tried Roxy's yet... will do so soon.

Having just moved to Midland in the last year, we where surprised at the level and quality of performers, both local and international that the MCC is able to book. In addition, the MCC is an overall excellent facility, with both a restaurant and art gallery. It's my understanding that they conduct art workshops and the like, through Quest Art... More
