Although the drive in is quite long you will be awarded with a well groomed and very enjoyable golf course. With many tee options for all levels, great layouts and interesting holes this is a treat. Tee times are 10 minutes apart which I highly recommend other courses to adopt. Greens are large, undulating and quick. If you are a... More

Well off the beaten track (20 minutes north east of Parry Sound), but worth the drive. One of the best courses in Muskoka and playable for all levels if you select the right tee deck. There were threatening thunder clouds the day we played, but the pro shop was very accomodating in potentially changing our tee time, even though we... More

Road access is a bit tricky. Setting is marvellous. Just to the restaurant for a gourmet - and expensive - lunch. The environment makes it worthwhile.

Service was horrible and the drinks were worse. Had to send back our drinks twice cause they were actually undrinkable. Such a disappointment for my mom's 60th birthday.

This food was great. It is a bit pricey but a golf club right on the shores of the lake, it is to be expected. Portions are generous. Best ceasar salad I've ever had. Was at a wedding here the year before and one of the best wedding meals I ever enjoyed. Service was reasonable to good.

Very nice track but spent the whole day watching old guys looking for balls in front of us as we stood on the tee waiting- we finally went by them to endure their pitifull taunts that they would hit a ball at us- the course is poorly managed. Need some marshalls out there to keep morons from doing stupid things...... More

Played this course twice with underpar.com coupons (great deal!) and was immediately impressed with the condition. Greens were fast and in excellent shape. Fairways like carpet. Some holes were very challenging especially if there were raised greens. Had to hit the perfect shot into the green or it would roll back downhill 50 yards. Generous fairways, reasonable rough. Most holes... More

My husband and I bought an underpar deal and we played this course on a Thursday afternoon. The golf course is well maintained and very pretty. The front 9 was challenging, but the back 9 was quite tough. I lost a lot of balls. They could have used a marshall as the foursome in front of us held us up... More

Apart from the excellent golf course, dinner at the Ridge is very good. Service has improved and the experience was excellent. The waitresses were very attentive to our table of 6. The atmosphere in the club house dining room, with the soaring post and beam ceilings and fireplace is great and definitely not claustrophobic. The pastas were wonderful and as... More

We were at The Ridge for a May 31 wedding. While the location is challenging, it was nice once we arrived. 30 minutes down back roads after a 3 hour drive from Toronto! Thankfully there was daylight coming and going. It is a very modern yet rustic-looking golf clubhouse with a great view of the adjacent golf course and a... More
