When everything goes right, it's hard to make a bad review, even if things could have been better. This is not the first cruise we've enjoyed on Lake Huron. While it is a full-service offering, there are many drawbacks. First, the view is fantastic. However, having said that, some of the views can be reached without being on a boat.... More

Only runs July to September, but the sunset dinner cruises are not to be missed. We were lucky to get on the last dinner cruise of the season. Fantastic!

Sunset cruise was excellent. This has the appearance of a family business (not sure if that is the case) and everyone involved is very friendly. The ship began life as a "Maid of the Mist", so it is more than capable of navigating the 30,000 islands. It's true that it is a smaller ship than the one used by the... More

Nice clean boat, but the small plastic chairs with no arms are very uncomfortable for a long ride. It also felt a bit claustrophobic with everyone sitting so close together. But the staff was lovely.

We enjoyed the sunset dinner cruise. The crew was welcoming and friendly, and the captain give interesting factoids about the various places we passed by. The dinner simple and tasty and my special dietary needs were catered for. The wine list was sufficiently extensive for a boat cruise and the bar was generally well stocked. The boat is small enough... More

Fantastic captain and crew. There is nothing like being out on the water. The boat has a nostalgic feel that exudes the personality and character that comes with its heritage. I would recommend the Chippewa!

We really enjoyed our cruise on this clean well maintained but smaller boat. The crew were very friendly and willing to talk about all aspects of the area. We saw several cottages we recognized from years ago particularly one where we had stayed in many times. We had lunch at Henry's Fish Restaurant in the islands which was great.
