We love feeding the chickadees

Wonderful natural area with so much wildlife you never know what you will see. So many bird varieties, deer, rabbits, voles, the list goes on and on.

the birds (chicadees) will sit on your hand (or head) if you hold out some seeds for them. Wildlife is abundant. Lovely nature trails.

Beautiful area for walking and enjoying wild nature. Here you can admire real nature in its full beauty: variety of birds, vegetation and you can even see deer. There is a bird feeder trail which is home to many nature creatures who have become accustomed to nurturing people.

My wife and I took in the shores in September. Lovely views. Overall a very nice calm place. A birdwatchers paradise. Kind of like a "mini" eco-system.

Very nice "nature spot" visited by just about everyone in the region at least once. Right by Whitby shores, it is a nice place to walk the trails, check out the wildlife and gaze on the waters. I used to pack a small cooler with treats and drinks and bring my boys there for a walk to feed the animals... More

A couple years ago I decided to take up recreational kayaking and The Lynde Marsh as part of Lynde Shore conservation area is a perfect early morning drop in for a quick paddle. You will be amazed by this small ecosystem right in Whitby. Here you can expect to see abundant wildlife such as racoons and many different birds in... More

Great place for watching birds. They fly very close and low so watch out for dropping :-). Tons of serious photographers trying to snap the picture-perfect shot of the birds. The trails are well maintained, flat and easy to walk for everyone. The park is free to enjoy but they charge a small fee for parking. I love this park.... More

This is a fun spot to feed birds, chipmunks, and other seasonal critters. Many will eat out of your hands. Excellent for Photography and/or a relaxing hike

This is a beautiful place for a walk. Lots of wildlife to see. I only wish that there were more interactive exhibits for families. I think there should be more advertising on the existence of this conservation area and have special events to attract more visitors. Many people do not know that it exists.
