Our guide was excellent and knowledgeable. The cave tour begins just outside Canmore off HWY#1 and all equipment was provided. I would take them seriously when they recommend being physically fit for the hike up and to move within the cave. Some of the squeezes were very tight! We liked how it was not too commercialized - truly dark as... More

As part of my companies corporate retreat this year we hired Canmore Cave Tours to guide us through the Rat's Nest Cave network. The 2 guides were exceptionally patient and knowledgeable. Our group was quite rambunctious and loud but the guides handled us very well. I would and will be recommending this to friends and acquaintances.

After several consecutive days of skiing in the Rockies we decided to try something different. A local tourism company recommended we go cave diving, and we are both very happy they did! The guide was intelligent and personable, he clearly loved what he was doing. The cave is spectacular in so many ways, absolutely a natural beauty. This tour isn't... More

We spent 5 hours in the cave. There were only two of us, myself and my friend (both women). Our guide, Steve, lead us into places he said he very rarely takes clients. We had so much fun! This is physically tough. I am sure Steve could have taken us on the "regular route" but this tour is not for... More

You will be challenged mentally more than physically especially on the four hour explorer's tour but not only will you survive you'll feel pretty darned proud of your accomplishments. Loved the rappel, not so thrilled with the laundry chute - but amazed with the beauty. This is the real deal - one rat and several spiders included.

Did a mind blowing tour with Steve for 5 hours. I have done a number of cave tours in different countries and usually you walk along a path with a guide who turns on the lights. This was not like that! We were actually caving. Crawling through crevices and the amazing laundry chute. This is an adventure tour and even... More

This is a tour you really need to do ! I have been on a dozen cave tours around the world and NEVER come across one like this. On this one you are like a cave explorer, doing climbs, crawl throughs, repelling, and squeezing through hole that you think you can't do. BUT YOU CAN ! It is very exhilarating... More

My partner and I wanted to try something different so we decided to sign ourselves up for this tour. We chose the Adventure Tour and it was SO worth the extra money. Our guide Dianna was amazing. She knew so much about the caves and provided detailed answers to all the questions we had about formations, history and etc. We... More

I did this tour back in January and honestly one of the best experiences I've had. If you want to challenge yourself mentally and physically then this is a must. Chris (the guide) was most knowledgeable and very persuasive in making yourself push the limits of your comfort zone. The only downfall is there is no transport to the cave... More
