Caving is something that I think everyone should try. Something about it calls to our inner caveman past -there is nothing like it. You have this powerful drive to push yourself just a little further to find out what is down past that next tight spot. It is a feeling hard to describe - the darkness, the sounds (absolute silence/dripping... More

We had such a great day, probably my favourite activity during our stay in the Rockies. Our guide was great too, let us do some of the more difficult squeezes like the laundry chute!

This was my first real caving experience in a bachelor party group of 10. It was pretty cool and it involves crawling, sliding and squeezing. For those who are into adventure activities like skydiving, bungee jumping, white water rafting, etc., you'll probably want to do the "Adventure Tour" and even then you likely won't get the same adrenaline rush from... This was my first time caving. It is definitely worth doing. It can be hard at times but good fun. The guide made sure our safety was priority. Try this out for a different experience.

This was thrilling! It's cool, it's darker than space, and you're not sure you'll survive it, but it's so awesome and once you see daylight again, you feel like you can conquer anything! Go! Do it! Seriously.

Moved to Canmore this summer and heard about caving which was very intriguing to me... and so glad I followed through on booking this trip! Go for 6 hours! Includes the abseil, even if you never abseiled before the guides are right by your side step by step. this was awesome! My friends were nervous at the start but quickly... More

My husband and I and our three children (11-13 yrs old) took a 6 hour tour with Canmore Cave Tours. We were given coveralls, gloves, and the necessary caving equipment. Our tour guide (Nelson) was wonderful. He was patient, very knowledgeable, and was a very experienced spelunker (he could squeeze his body through small openings that I did not think... More

We have been wanting to go into the Rat's Nest Cave for the past 10 years or so and have done a lot of caving around the world in the mean time. This cave was incredible and will remain one of my favourites... not because it is beautiful, in having lots of features like crystals and flowstone formations, stalactites and... More
