Our guide, Chris, was excellent. We went on a rainy day (no visibility in the mountains) but this destination is worth visiting any time. We were completely outfitted -- overalls, helmet, light, harness, carabiners. This was a relief because I'm not sure we would ever have washed the mud out of our clothes. We had previously been on a caving... More

I recently visited the RN with my two grown son's as we were looking for something different and challenging a boy did we get our money's worth. We did the adventure tour which includes more cave time as well as a rappel. We found the tour quite strenuous and demanding and would not recommend it to anyone who is the... More

This was the only adventure I booked ahead of time and it was worth any penny! It was so much fun and I learned a ton!!!! Danielle was the perfect guide, so much knowledge, encouraged us to try new things and made us feel great when we didn't want to do something. I would go back again and even ask... More

I took my Son on this tour not sure how he'd react underground so was a little apprehensive. But Calvin (our guide) made the tour fun and really pushed us with some "extra credit" challenges to see what we could do. It was a really memorable experience and my Son had lots of fun. Would we do it again? Heck... More

I'm not an athlete or a lover of dark tight places and am approaching 70 but I tackled the Rat's Nest Cave and came out a victor at least in my own mind. The hardest thing about it is the 45 minute hike up the mountain to the entrance. Oh, and venturing for the first time into the dark and... More

This cave is an amazing cave for a beginner. That said, it has quite a few rooms adorned with decorations, including soda straws, bacon strips, and good amounts of flowstone. There are ropes in the key places, so that even if you were to fall, you would be safe (Everyone is issued a harnness). The guides make everyone feel secure,... More

This is a must do. FYI other people know about this so book it in advance. 40 people were turned down the day before us. Best chance is mid week. We loved this. We did the bigger tour with the 20m decent. Worth it. Danielle our guide was great. You can tell when someone loves their job. She did the... More

My boyfriend and I recently did the adventure tour with Canmore Caves and we are both in agreement that it was one of the most exciting and thrilling activities we have ever done. The tour was very well organised by the company and our guide was great. Safety was a priority at all times but our guide was also lots... More

My fiancé surprised me with this activity for my birthday! We are from Banff and have wanted to do this for a long time. There was also a family in our group with two kids who were on vacation. Eli was our tour guide and he was great. We did the repel and it was fun. I was a little... More
