I almost don't want to review this -- I want it to remain a secret. But really, if you like cross-country skiing, you'll LOVE Mount Shark. Cradled in a valley surrounded by breathtaking moutains, you'll find a series of 5km loops and a 10km loop, free and professionally groomed for classic and skating. Great family outing. Limited facilities (only park outhouses) so don't expect to buy hot chocolate but the trails are super well maintained. The views are gorgeous and it makes for a nice day out.

Not too much to see but tonnes of different loops for a great workout. Can be very windy and cold. Always hard packed/groomed and well skiied. Usually quite busy.

Wether you enjoy a gentle classic ski, or a challenging skate ski with lots of uphills, Mount Shark will enchant you with it's gorgeous sceneries! You also have the option to do some backcountry skiing and sleep at Bryant Creek hut, or enjoy an after ski tea at Mount Engadine.

A little beyond my abilities but beautiful area and a ton of snow. The road getting there was not great in the morning, icy and didn't make it up one hill with our van after the truck in front of us stopped. However the return drive was better.
