We really enjoyed walking this trail, even though it was in the winter. The scenery was still stunning. There was ice on the trail (as I said, it was in the middle of winter) but it was totally manageable. (Not sure I would take an elderly person on it, though.) We walked for 1.5 hours and didn't even do it... More

Gorgeous path following the creek. Very easy walk for anyone to enjoy. Quick and easy walk through town if you are not so keen on hiking in the mountains that day. Breathtaking mountain views. Incredibly quiet and peaceful.

This is a lovely walk in town where you can be amongst nature and be surrounded by absolute beauty! A must do! The path runs behind Shoppers but the boardwalk really begins at the bridge near the light where Nutters is, so it's right in town; a walk can include galleries and stores, etc. but it's wonderful just going down... It's a very nice & easy boardwalk stroll along the creek & through marshy areas. Great easy walk for kids and elders.

I first experienced this walk back in the beginning of summer last year. From the first time I took this walk, I have loved it. It's calming, surrounded by nature's beauty and maybe the best part is a great shortcut to and from downtown. When I don't want to walk the streets with noisy traffic, I take to the boardwalk... I have walked the Policeman's Creek Boardwalk several times already because it is so relaxing. The walk is not very long and it is usually not very busy either. One thing I recommend is to take along your bear spray (which is recommended by the Canmore WildSmart community). Not that I ever needed to use mine, but I pack it... More

We/ my wife and I took a walk to take in the fantastic/overwhelming views of the mountains from both sides. A few years ago we took a photo and used for our annual Christmas card.

The boardwalk is not maintained in the winter. There was a lot of snow on the boardwalk. Beautiful views and the creek is lovely.
