Nice Short Urban Walk

Nice quiet space in the midde of a busy, tourist area. Our experience was hampered by a huge forest fire smoke presence, but still fun!

This was a relaxing walk without leaving Canmore. I didn't see it as anything crazy special, but it was enjoyable. The low river was very nice to watch and the mountains in the background were great too. Definitely not a hard walk at all. We went behind the Rose and Crown/The Drake to access while we parked in the free... More

It was an interesting route back to our accomodation but it rained and we didn't explore the craft village that it leads to so the rating is based purely on our experience.

This Boardwalk is part of. Network of trails that wind through downtown Canmore. You can access the boardwalk from the Main Street. It isn't as quiet as some trails in more remote locations, but still it is easily accessible and a beautiful place to go for a walk.

This is a great little path for walking around Canmore. The boardwalk is nice because you can see ducks, other water birds. This connects to many other paths all around the city

During our week long stay in Canmore we walked the boardwalk almost every day with our dogs. Such a beautiful creation within town!

This is part of a network of walkways throughout Canmore. Along the way we saw bikers, runners, and all others interested in the circuit.

Instead of following a trail, you follow the boardwalk. It is at the entrance to the downtown or main street. It is peaceful and quiet. There are ducks in the creek. There were no mosquitoes or pesky bugs. We took the boardwalk on our way to the Benchlands Trail.

We took this short walk one afternoon and enjoyed the serenity and peacefulness right at duak. I loved seeing families of ducklings and aling the path tiny little mice like animals foraging for food. A nice way to wind down from a busy day.

This is a very scenic little walk right in the heart of Canmore. It is easy for all fitness levels. It is short and flat but has the bonus of a lovely walkway and plenty of wildlife.
