A way better way to walk to town than along a sidewalk by a road! Always lots of ducks and birds around, water is clear, great view of the mountains!

We have a condo on Policeman's Creek, so we walk here quiet often. It is a nice scenic walk, you see alot of birds, ducks and elk, when you're lucky. The river is always beautiful to me and when you walk early in the morning it is very peaceful and quiet, time to recharge your battery, so to speak. I... More

Walked with our dog along the boardwalk, got a few good pictures. Unfortunately I ended up really needing to use the washroom and there isn't one very close by, so I basically had to run back to the nearest gas station.

Clear water, no noise, makes it's a romantic walk in the evening. Bit too clumsy with pets doing in the way sometimes. Otherwise it's a peaceful nice little walk over the creek.

This is a gentle stroll following a clear creek, with some nice nature in between. If you're wandering around the town-site, you owe it to yourself to give this one a walk. Nicely maintained and a great way to see some of the town of Canmore.

Nice boardwalk from town centre along river and marsh. Bird watching was good. Nice after dinner walk.

On a lovely day there is the running brook, clear as a bell and the ducks and perhaps a wee fish if you are lucky, then you arrive at the most interesting street in Canmore with lots of great shops.

It's an easy walking trail within the town. It is beautifully designed so that you actually feel like you're in the country. Unfortunately it doesn't loop around so you go so far and then back on to pavement. I just got back from a walk on the trail and around town. The community has numbered streets and avenues so it's... Such a nice walk; easy and friendly. We took the trail into town to do some shopping and enjoyed the mountain views all along the way. A nature walk and an easy enjoyable "commute" to town.

Canmore is a walking town! Trails and paths crisscross the town. Don't visit without taking a long stroll along the Bow River. In winter, you might feel more comfortable with "Yak Traxs", studded attachments for the soles of your boots. They are available everywhere in town for about $15. We bought some at Canadian Tire, along with ice skates to... More
