With 21 years of fun- no wonder Canadian Rockies Rafting has the best excursions and experiences to offer in the Valley! Our most popular trips are the half-day Whitewater Rafting excursions on the Kananaskis and Bow River - Horseshoe Canyon. Other activities we offer are Bow River Nature Floats in the evenings, River boarding down the Kananaskis, the occasional Kicking Horse Tour and Moose Safari’s in late August and September. (Each tour has minimum trip size requirements – inquire for details) Also inquire about our great deals on group reservations: We LOVE to host Birthdays, Bachelor/ette parties, corporate groups and more!

Booked a morning run, the weather was great and the water isn't as cold as they make it out to be. In July you don't need the jacket they offer. Unfortunately, you also don't need the wet suit (it's not that cold) or the helmet (no risk here) as the water is low and the rapids (3 very tame ones)... More

Easy access from Highway 1. River is great for first time trip. Great guide - Crystal - who made it an awesome trip! Lots of fun and games and opportunity to play in the water. We were lucky - it was a gorgeous day! Plenty equipment and gear for all shapes and sizes. Lot of pictures taken at different locations.... More

Great trip, safety is the primary concern, Jaz, Chad, and Chris did a very good job stressing compliance to instructions for safety’s sake. The water level was down on the Bow River, therefore the rapids were diminished somewhat but the excursion was a lot of fun, meeting people and crew is always a good thing. After the first set of... My 8 year old and I did the half-day family whitewater rafting trip on the Kananaskis river. Pick-up in Canmore was convenient (transportation is an old school bus), staff did a great job getting everyone geared up with all they need in a clear and organized way. Wear your swimsuit there to make getting ready easier, there is one communal... More

I would highly recommend this company for your rafting experience! We went on the Highwood River with as a work event. Many of us are outdoor thrill seekers, and our guide made sure we had a memorable trip. They went out of their way to accommodate our thrill seeking group! We were able to cliff jump for about 20 minutes... More

the tour guide was great friendly and informative - he took us through some rapids more than once to to try and have someone fall it - was a fun filled adventure - good for beginers and families not to much paddling involved - our guide said the day before he took an 88 year old woman rafting and she... We signed up with Caravan tours for a week of travel in the Canadian Rockies. the trip was above and beyond our expectation. The travel guide, the luxury bus driver, the accommodations and the adventures were superb. In addition we had a great group of 44 travelers, who added to the success of the trip. We traveled in July and... More
