Golf on the Roof of the World - When the game of golf is played on a course carved out of original Rocky Mountain terrain, something fundamental changes. There is a mystery built in. Not just the practical question of where the ball will land, but how will you ever return to urban golf after a magical mountain golfing experience like the one at Silvertip. Designed by world renowned architect Les Furber, the course plays from an approachable 5,089 yards to an awesome championship 7,173 yards, with over 600 feet of elevation change, making it the single most breathtaking mountain course in the world for literally any level of play.

First time here and hope to get back. The course was in excellent condition, although the super-fast greens were a challenge. It's not overly long so even a duffer like me can post a decent score, although a few narrow fairways were a test. Can't say enough about the scenery, wonderful views of the Rockies, particularly across the Bow Valley... More

This course presents as a resort mountain course, since the earlier years, they have made an effort for playability by cutting back the rough, thus widening the course slightly, but these are positive adjustments for the average player. if you can play the ball straight off the tee, this course will present far fewer issues, as many of the fairways... Silvertip is one of the great mountain courses. The layout plays a lot of holes downhill with beautiful views of the mountains. The course is kept in amazing condition and so you enjoy the very best of golf while also enjoying some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. I have played this course several times over the years,... More

If you like golfing in a scenic setting you would be hard pushed to find a course with better views than this. There are a few blind holes that would be better played a second time but all in all the course was pretty good and in great condition. The clubhouse food and service were both excellent as well.

Hard to describe how beautiful this was. Even with a little forest fire haze in the air it was spectacular! The layout takes you up and down the mountain several times with dramatic elevation changes on some hole (particularly #18) and some very challenging placement golf. Lots of uneven lies, but part of the challenge and charm. The day we... More

We had our wedding here this July. Everything was perfect. They were very organized and knew what they were doing. The views were beautiful and the food was amazing. My dad was very nervous before hand that the food would not be good because that is what he has come to expect at fancy places. However everyone said the food... More

The location for a casual dinner cannot be beaten. The food was excellent too. Try the Inferno burger..... WOW.... Next time I am in Canmore I will try and play a round of golf. Fairways and greens looked excellent and the views are breath taking.

We held another customer appreciation event here. All customers are very impressed with the course and staff. Food was fantastic as usual (both breakfast and dinner) as well as the bagged lunch. The course is tough but also tough to get around. Lots of hills to climb.l
