Canmore helped Calgary host the 1988 Olympics, and cross-country fans and competitors discovered this quiet town and loved the Nordic Park Alberta had prepared. Now the locals ski the mostly-natural snow more months than your skeletal structure may need. The trail is Olympian in size and incredible in beautiful scenery. Keep moving and you'll fly. SLow down and others will... More

we've only been on the Banff Trail and love it so much we haven't wanted to try others. The groomed tracks are always in good shape. The scenery is amazing that we just keep going and have to remind ourselves that we still have to go back. Always ending the day in that muscle exhausted feel good way.

The hubby and I picked Canmore to celebrate my birthday weekend. It was our first time x-country skiing...and we had a BLAST! The only reason I don't give a full 5 stars is due to the Trail Sports Rental shop on site. Although we told them it was our first time, and they were friendly, we really did not receive... More

We were at a wedding and the food was below average for what they charged. Over priced per plate and very little options for the price. One salad, one horrible salad dressing, one vegetable dish that was average, potatoes were the best, chicken boring and simple and the salmon was over cooked and dry. This may be good food for... Plenty of perfectly groomed slopes for all levels of cross country. You can even cycle your "fat bike" on the slopes, which looks like great fun. The entrance is 10 dollars, which is pretty good I think. The ski rentals for a half day is 25 dollars which is a little pricy but worth it! The view from the place... More

We have visited this place twice. We like spending with family and friends here because of great scenery and because of other activities we can do here. We particularly like tobogganing and sledding. They have great slopes for skiing too. I particularly recommend this place to big families and group of friends who love to do outdoor activities during winter... More

This is the place we love to ski at first on our annual ski trips to Canmore. Lots of skill levels on the trails for all skiers. The Banff Trail is a great trail to get back into XC skiing. Not too difficult and only about 12 kms in length
