This was our first time on SUPs. We had a great time on them and went right on the reservoir right below the shop. We spent about 4 hours there paddling around in the beautiful blue water. The SUPs were inflatable so we could have taken them anywhere. We chose this calm place since this was our first time. It... More

We always enjoy showing our friends and family one of Canmore's claims to fame! Always something new or interesting to see here, and a great place to take the family summer or winter! Unless you are planning to walk around or cross country ski, don't plan for hours of entertainment for small children. Definitely a fun place to visit!

This Nordic Center is beautiful. While there was no snow in town in Canmore, there was plenty of snow and lots of groomed trails at the Nordic Center. There is a great variety of trails from simple beginner to challenging advanced. It is well maintained. The staff is wonderful. We rented skis at the park and the staff took great... More

We recently just did the Rocky Mountain Soap 10K run on the trails at the Nordic Centre and I can't wait to do it again next year! I also can't wait to take my whole family for some walks around the trails! Such a beautiful place :)

It was off season (May 2015). Can use the trails for hiking or rent a bike and go cruising. Worth checking out... Am sure it is much more busy during peak ski season.

The trails here are amazing! I don't cross country ski, but since this was an olympic venue, I'm sure the trails are immaculate! As for mountain biking in the summer, it's definitely a challenging trail! The prices are awesome, and a great way for some family activity when you visit here!

It was so well priced for a person who just wanted to try it. $10 for the access to the area and $20 for the ski hire etc. I hired the gear for 2 hrs but probably only lasted 30 minutes, it was very good exercise but I cut it short as I need my strength for the cave tour.

Have never been before and was in awe of the place. There was a biathalon race going on when we were there. It was cool to see live.

You cross country skate? Then you get the trail winter fee of $10 and get your holly bottom on the very well groomed Nordic trails there

We have visited the Nordic Centre a few times and have always had a great time! A great place for adults and kids of all skill levels! We stayed on the main tracks as we are still learning how to xcountry ski. The other skiiers around us were very encouraging and friendly. An amazing value for a family! Being active... More
