This is an amazing place and if you get a guide to take you around its even better, ours pointed our bear and wolf prints as well as showing us how to make a snow hole to sleep in and how to test snow for a possible avalanche. Awsome place.

I can't tell you about all the hiking, biking, and skiing. What I can tell you is this: It is stunning! I don't know much about the wildlife so I didn't want to risk any solo trip I couldn't handle. Instead, I took as many pics as I possibly could without making anyone nervous. I was delighted just from the... More

Love, love, love the mountain biking at the nordic centre. First, it's free! How awesome is that!!! Then it's rooty and rocky, with some tough uphill slogs, but the downhills have flow, challenge and serious type-one fun. There are so many trails there, that each time it is a new adventure and you can shake it up a bit. And... More

the Nordic Centre is the Olympic training center for Canadian Nordic (Cross Country) skiing. In the summer it is a hikers and mountain bikers paradise, with well marked trails ranging from wide paved trails for roller ski training to Black Diamond single-track for hard core mountain bikers, with unpaved wide, flat trails that become ski tracks in the winter. you... First off, for those reviewing bike rentals, Trail Sports is an independent shop based at the centre.... The Nordic Centre is amazing in the Summer with a whole heap of single and double track from flowy to technical. Not much for the downhill mtb crowd, but good for everyone else. And it's FREE... Yes, free... All of these trails maintained... More

Riding was great, the bikes are well fitted. We had an accident happen to the bike which was odd, and possibly a fluke. The non-management staff we dealt with could have been better, but the managers made everything alright. We would go back again. Read on for details. My Girlfriend and I went to the Nordic Centre and rented two... More

There are nearly countless trails that can be followed in this park. It has the luxury of being an Olympic site and the Nordic Training Centre. The trails are well marked and easy to follow. You can be inspired by the athletes training even in the summer.

Make the trek to Canmore to do the Grassi Lake hike. A moderately challenging hike with many rewarding views.

I had a totaly different experience. The bikes were great! The person who served us was very helpful. Asked us what kind of biking we were lookjng for and mapped out a route for us. Right next to the water. Brought the bike back 2hr 15min charged for 2hrs. I highly recommend these guys. Very professional.
