Yes, there is disc golf in Canmore! We finished eighteen holes in under two hours. Park provides fantastic signage for fairways and location of holes (really baskets). Tee boxes are well maintained. If you need the restroom, keep in mind that it closes around 5pm. It is beautiful out in Canmore.. just watch out for the mosquitoes! Happy frolfing! Oh... More

We went mountain biking at the Canmore Nordic Centre and had a blast. There are trails to suit every level of ability. Soft Yogurt and EKG were 2 of our favourites. There was a mountain bike race on the go Saturday and Sunday which was great to watch and see the riders tackle some pretty challenging terrain. There are plenty... More

Like: easy to get the lift pass, instructors for classes are fantastic and super dedicated to helping people learn to ski. Needs to improve: Equipment rental a little chaotic and disorganized.

Some of the specified parking lots are small but there seems to be plenty of free on street parking available anyway. We found the free local maps very helpful as the trails and streets are well marked. Here are some of our favorite trails and sites. For those who like to check out beautiful vacation homes, walk along both sides... More

In the winter you can cross country ski or snow shoe and in the summer you can hike or cycle the trails. In the spring you can snowshoe the higher terrain and hike the lower. Beautiful area. Dozens of trails of various degrees of difficulty and length

We love the location, quality of grooming and maintenance. Surrounding nature makes it a paradise in Rockies.

Canmore helped Calgary host the 1988 Olympics, and cross-country fans and competitors discovered this quiet town and loved the Nordic Park Alberta had prepared. Now the locals ski the mostly-natural snow more months than your skeletal structure may need. The trail is Olympian in size and incredible in beautiful scenery. Keep moving and you'll fly. SLow down and others will... More

we've only been on the Banff Trail and love it so much we haven't wanted to try others. The groomed tracks are always in good shape. The scenery is amazing that we just keep going and have to remind ourselves that we still have to go back. Always ending the day in that muscle exhausted feel good way.
