A number of flights are available of different durations. We flew up over the three sisters mountains and into the next valley swooping close to the jagged ridges. We followed the river down the valley before heading back. A good close up of the Rockies peaks.

Another fabulous trip over the mountains with exceptional views of the valleys and the glaciers, worth visiting. This is the way to fly. The staff were very helpful. Another excellent Day.

My Alpine Helicopter ride in Canmore—I chose the Three Sisters Peaks Tour—was the highlight of my trip to Alberta. First, the wiggly, backward liftoff from the heliport, then our pilot kicked it and we twisted over the hotels along the Bow Valley and straight to the Three Sisters—Hope, Faith, and Charity, smack in front a few miles ahead. The rotor... More

We hiked to Mt. Assiniboine in fair weather, stayed a few days, and then on the way out, it started to snow. Luckily, there was space in an Alpine Helicopter and we were down in half an hour. The helicopter was first class and I am sure the views would have been great, but we were socked in and did... More

Thank you for taking the time to submit your review. We provide air transfers for Assiniboine Lodge Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays (Mondays on long weekends) during their operating season. Due to varying weather conditions these transfer flights are not always geared to sightseeing. I'm glad to hear we were able to be of assistance and saved you the hike out... More

This was our main treat for our 25 wedding anniversary tour of western Canada so we opted for the 1hr Marvel Pass tour. The trip was fantastic from start to finish. Our pilot, Tyler, was excellent and not only explained our surroundings but also, when I sat next to him, how the helicopter worked. The good thing about the tour... More

Took a 30 minute flight, have to say I was a little nervous - my first helicopter flight! The staff were amazing taking us through the safety video and answering all our questions professionally. The pilot gave an awesome commentary for the entire flight - I loved every minute and would do it again in a heart beat.

Firstly, walking into to Alpine Helicopters (deliberately early) and then being rushed into a safety demo that last about a minute then onto the helicopter without so much as a smile from the women organising us, seemed ridiculous given that we were not at all late. Given the price we paid, the service on ground was poor. However, the pilot... More

It goes without saying that I am disappointed to read you had the same experience as our last reviewer. I will make absolutely sure that we have a frank discussion about how important the full guest experience is, not just the flight time. Thank you for your comments. They are valid to the success of our operation. Please feel free... More

We chose a beautiful sunny day for a fantastic helicopter flight oner the Rockies. Spectacular scenery with a very knowledgeable and informative pilot. Alpine Helicopters run a very efficient operation. The only downside was the way we, the paying customers, were made to feel by the staff member who handled the briefing and the seating arrangement. Instead of adding to... More
