On my first visit to Canada, my friend booked us on the sled tour. The staff were attentive, professional and keen to ensure you enjoyed your day. They are very well organised and nothing was to much trouble. The whole experience was great from start to finish. You get to drive your own sled, if you want to, you get... More

My now fiancé and I went on a snowy owl dog sled tour this February. To my surprise he proposed to me halfway through the tour and EVERYBODY was in on it! He worked with the office for months to plan the proposal and the staff the day of made sure everything was perfect, down to our amazing guide (Julie-if... More

Fantastic few hours with these lovely dogs. Ethan our guide really knows his stuff, we learned a lot and it was entertaining too. Have been on one of these type tours in the winter in Lapland and didn't get to pat the dogs as they were all chained up. This was summer and they were roaming free so came up... More

My husband was more keen to do the summer tour with this company than myself as he is a huge dog lover! I like dogs but not as much as him! Anyway we were picked up by Ethan who took us to meet the dogs - a man that clearly loves his work and his dogs he was so interesting... More

Our wonderful summer dog sled tour was very informative with lots of lovin from many beautiful sled dogs! We were picked up by Ethan at the Snowy Owl store in downtown Canmore & after a short comfortable van ride we were greeted by our tour guide Carlin & our first furry friend Koda. The attention to details of why things... More

Went on the two hour dog tour, the people running the tours were very professional, helpful and knowledgeable. You know the dogs just love doing this as they just want to start running and the handlers had to hold them back. If you pay a bit extra you can have a sled to yourself, so my husband and I did... We've just returned from the summer kennel tour and it was great. The guide was extremely knowledgable and the tour was very informative. It was interesting to learn about the different breeds of dogs that are presently used and some of the history of the sport. It was very fun to freely interact with the dogs. I would highly recommend... More

They have about 179 sled dogs and since it was off season, we got a two hour lesson how how they care for and use their dogs. This is run by the original owners and it is clear they care about and plan for their dogs' life long experience. Careful records are kept on each dog and their living area... More

This was one of the best outdoor activities our family has ever experienced. We did the 2 hour tour. Everything from the time of pick up at our hotel in Banff to the drop off, was handled extremely well. The training was more than sufficient and the journey itself with the dogs was unbelievable. My husband and daughter (who is... More

What an incredible day! The shuttle bus ride through the mountains is beautiful and you hardly notice the 45-60 minute trip from your hotel to the sledding area. My wife and I had our own sled and were each given the chance to "drive". I appreciate that driving the sled might not be for everyone, but if you think you... More
