My wife and I had never gone dog-sledding before and we received a gift certificate for Christmas from our children. As a result, we booked the 2-hour ride with the guide. The tour was handled completely professional from the booking in, the transport to the site, the welcome brief and intro to the dogs as well as the cider &... More

Such a great experience! We got to drive our own six dog team! The guides were very friendly and showed great love for the animals as well as knowledge of the sport. They made sure you were comfortable with the instructions and had guides in front, behind and posted along the trail the whole time. One thing i liked about... More

This is a unique and very different adventure which was great fun. We were able to drive the sled and get the real feel, a must do! The dogs have their individual characters and it is great fun watching them as we did the route. Very professionally run, great transport to and from the venue. Thank you for the privilege.

Where to start, everything was great. The bus to the staging are was ok, but I am prone to motion sickness. It lasts maybe 15 minutes but then heaven. If you love dogs, mountains and fresh air then look no further. The instruction for driving a sled was very informative. I was nervous at first, but really it's so simple.... More

If you love dogs, being outside and the snow/cold...this is a must do trip. Very well organised, informative, stunning location, dogs are very well looked after and loved. I did not get to drive (my choice), did the 2 hour trip (which is actually only 1 hour on the sledge) and got a bit cold, not to bad though, so wrap... More

My daughter and I did this dog tour yesterday. We had the most amazing experience. The dogs and the handlers were wonderful. We were taught how to drive them and while I chose to stay snuggled in the sled my daughter drove the sled. The scenery is beyond beautiful, coming back to a fire and hot cider just topped it... Everyone should try this at least once! The dogs are beautiful and tour guides are superb! The two lasts about two hours and ends lakeside with a fire and hot cider! BIG THUMBS UP!

If you go anywhere near Canmore then you need to experience a dog sled tour with the dogs and the team from Snowy Owl. I was a little apprehensive when I discovered that I could drive the sled however I was fortunate to be on the sled with Jeremy and gave it a go. He made me feel comfortable and... More

We recently went on the snowy owl dog sled tour & had an absolute blast. The experience of being able to drive the sleds as well as ride in them was great fun. The team there were extremely helpful & made the experience an absolute pleasure. Jereme & our guide Nicole did a great job & I would recommend this... More
