Bloody cold - but really good fun. Coming back across the lake was unforgettable.

So it was -26C so in principle we could have rebooked - I think they offer that if it is really cold. They do give instructions to avoid getting too cold. We didn't do too well... read more

So it was -26C so in principle we could have rebooked - I think they offer that if it is really cold. They do give instructions to avoid getting too cold. We didn't do too well following them and probably should have hired/ bought propper gear. That said we had a really good time. It was very cool to be... More

Lovely healthy dogs, caring staff and all the amenities you could need at the office. We went on a 2h tour with 2 children aged 4 and 6. Guides were incredibly accommodating even allowing our 6yr old a chance to drive and stand with him for a while. My biggest worry was that there'd be no bathrooms (there were port-o-potties... More

This was my second tour with Snowy Owl and I cannot say enough nice things! The scenery is amazing, the staff is knowledgeable, friendly and willing to give you a bit of extra attention if you are nervous about mushing your first team. The huskies are clearly VERY well taken care of and love what they do! Lots of enthusiasm... More

We booked a dog sled ride with Snowy Owl to celebrate my husband's birthday, and brought our grandsons along to share the day with us. OH MY GOD. I am quite sure those two boys have never had so such fun doing anything before ever. Like EVER. At 8 and 6, they spend a lot of time sharing organized indoor... More

Oue family needed a break from several days of skiing. Our 2hr adventure with Snowy Owl Tours was amazing. The staff did an excellent job of explaining what we needed to know for driving the sleds and the expectations on how the dogs were to be treated. We were 3 people on one sled - my son and husband both... More

The title says it all really. This was the highlight of my entire 3 weeks in Canada. Upon arrival you can tell all the employees/trainers love their dogs as they gave every single one a pep talk and cuddle before we set off. Our guide Sydney was excellent and knew everything there was to know about the dogs - name,... More

-Awesome experience. -Great customer service and great staff (booking staff, driver and the instructors). Adam (the instructor) was friendly and really funny. -Make sure to dress warm, especially if you're the one sitting in the sled.

Took the family out to Banff for a weekend getaway. We have always wanted to take our kids dog sledding (mushing). Snowy Owl Dog Sled tours picked up us at our hotel and drove to the area behind Canmore. The owner went through the instruction to drive your very own dog team. After a very entertaining 15 mins of instruction... More

Had such a great time with these guys. The guides were super nice and knowledgable. You have the option of driving your own sled which makes things so much more fun & exciting than just sitting in the sled. Would defiantly recommend this to anyone! Be sure to bring you camera because the scenery is post card worthy. Did the... More
