Great place to have a drink, feed or wander. The market area has a good 1/2 days things to see. We did the walk around then had dinner there it was spot on and relaxing. If you are in nth Van couver you must go and see.

Our family arrived here around one in the afternoon for lunch. There is an international food court which offers many choices of good food. You can spend a relaxing lunch there by sitting outdoors and enjoying the view. There's not a lot to see in the market but there are surely a few interesting shops to walk around. I could easily spend a day here but 90 min was also great! Could walk around and see things. Less hectic than Granville Island. Easy and fun to take the Seabus as part of the bus route-- so cheap! Just $2.10 for 90 min pass on public transportation if you buy a 10 pack of tickets--well worth it!!

Very nice place with some good food stores. But I would only go for the food. The other stores are not the best. I would recommend the Mexican Place and Grocery Store, for good food.

You can sit outside eating an ice cream cone and watch the Seabus docking and the ocean freight ships waiting to come into the Harbour. Lots of restaurant stalls inside catering to different ethnic choices, British fish and chips, Indian food, great homemade soups, Persian food, Japanese and the fresh fruit and vegetables stall. Take the elevator to the 2nd... More

What a wonderful market! It is located on the water with a wonderful array of food and shops. My family spent a whole afternoon vising the market and had a wonderful lunch and did some fun shopping, a good place to go on a relaxing weekend afternoon!

We went for a short visit to the farmers market at Lonsdale quay. It's very cute and bustling with lots of little shops. I ended up buying some fudge and chocolate. One can sit outside but the the view is not very interesting of industrialized Vancouver.
