Take half a day to visit with the farm animals. Great experience for the kids without actually driving 80 kilometers to the valley. Heehaw.. More

I found this place disappointing. I guess it's some Government regulation but children are not allowed to feed the animals and so the animals have absolutely no interest whatsever in saying hello to the people. Adults and children wander around the paddock edges as the animals stand in the middle and get stared at. Both sides somewhat bewildered. Even lambs... More

Kids can get close to goats and rabbits, free range chickens and ducks. On our visit we saw lots of farn babies - chicks, bunnies, kids, lambs and a baby burro. Lots of benches and picnic tables for snacks or lunch. The farm is clean, safety conscious and the animals are friendly. Fun and very affordable way to spend a... More

Maplewood Farm is a great place to go to learn about rural living. The farm is in a great location with surrounding creeks and wilderness. The animals are very friendly, my family particularily enjoyed the 'Goat Hill Gang'. A place where folks can visit goats and sheep in their natural environment. The goats are very curious and adorable, especially the... More
