If you are a local or visitor and it's raining, this is a good place to spend an hour or more. Especially fun for little kids and possibly up to age of 12. Educational

If you're planning on going to the Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge, then take a few extra minutes and visit the Ecology Centre, it's only a few steps away. It's very informative about the area

Visiting the Ecology Centre at Lynn Canyon gave us all the information required when visiting Lynn Canyon. Displays are excellent, well worth spending time here.

We paid the centre a visit after we had went for a walk round the suspension bridge and the twin falls. Great prices in here, very informative with lots of displays to let you know what is going on. Three of my children came into the centre and they all bought presents to bring back for their friends. Great selection... More

It was small but had many displays of educational information about the eco system and wildlife. My 2 year old daughter enjoyed the animals in displays and the sounds of each animal did. They have gift shop where travelers can purchase from postcards to stuffed animals to other Canadian souvenirs. We really enjoyed it.

Have been to tons of State and Federal Parks all over the USA and this Centre is just mediocre, more of a typical gift shop than informative centre.. They have stuff like a ranger to speak to and I think a film, but the room with explanation was pretty sparse....we literally walked in and then out! But had a great... More

Its great to find information on the ecology and environmental practices of places we visit. This center is small but offers a lot of interesting facts and it is clear they are devoted to environmental issues.

A small charge but worth the visit. Lots of great explanations of things in the area. There are even interactive consoles for kids and adults. Along with the park it is well worthy the time to go. Easy to get to anywhere from North Vancouver. If you find this helpful please mark it so.

After touring through the gorgeous Lynn Canyon park (which includes a wobbly suspension bridge over a 200 foot deep chasm and many waterfalls) check out the ecology centre to find out more about living things on the North Shore. They've got dioramas, stuffed animals, and large displays about our local ecology. Entrance is by donation, so bring cash.

For a freebie, this is well worth the time to stop in and visit. My older daughter had a great time looking through everything and it was a good prep for our own unguided visit to Lynn Valley park. Learn about the local forest & its inhabitants. The attendants are very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the forest, that's for sure.
