Whether you're a lifelong local or a visitor to Vancouver for a few days, your life is not complete without a kayak outing in Deep Cove. This is the PERFECT place to enjoy some self propelled time on the water because it is so pristine and sheltered. The scenery is beautiful, the water crystal clear and the conditions cater to... We have wanted to try kayaking for years. We first went on the 3-hour tour of deep cove with a guide and then decided to come back and take the rec level 1 and 2 course. Both were great. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable and so was our instructor for the course. This was a great introduction to kayaking... More

Grab a couple Kayaks, singles or doubles a get out for a spectacular paddle. Breathtaking scenery. Afterwards plenty of picnic spots available in Panorama Park and pretty clean and tidy. After lunch be sure to head up the lookout point at the end of Panorama Drive. It is a good climb but it can be done with relative ease by... More

We have rented kayaks from DCCK a number of times and we really like the service and style. It is pretty relaxed except for making sure you are going to be safe. The beach crew makes sure people get the basics down before they paddle off and help you back in when you are done. It is a really busy... More

I've rented kayaks from here several times and I have thoroughly enjoyed myself each time. Bring a camera because I've seen spectacular scenery and marine life up close each time. I've only been out 5 or 6 times and have seen mother seals with pups within 20 feet of the kayak on 2 separate outings. Even viewing the real estate... More

Finding deep cove was easy to get to using the public bus. I was met by my tour guide Allan, a fellow scot who talked us through everything we needed to know. Allan had lots of knowledge about the local area and even fed us doughnuts, great day out!

I have rented kayaks through Deep Cove Canoe and Kayaks on several occasions. The last trip was with my coworkers. Most of us had single kayaks, and two rented stand-up paddle boards. The staff who helped us get set up were very friendly as they got us on our way. We chose to take the paddle out to Jug Island.... More

We called the place one day beforehand and they said, that it's no use reserving a kayak since they never knew with the wind conditions whether it would be possible to go out. So we just went down there one morning and got lucky :-) We rented a 2-person kayak and after a short intro we were good to go.... More

I tried to reach out prior to my trip regarding kayak reservations via their contact page. Don't waste your time trying to reach them through the webpage, just call. When I arrived I was told I couldn't do the solo kayak because I didn't know the solo rescue procedure. Makes sense, however I rented a car and planned a day... More
