Good Atmosphere

Went for lunch; good service and food was good although I've had better halibut & chips and I was surprised to be charged over $3 for a cup of coffee. Have rated it "very good" as... read more

Went for lunch; good service and food was good although I've had better halibut & chips and I was surprised to be charged over $3 for a cup of coffee. Have rated it "very good" as my two guests said their meal was excellent. Place was very busy. It's a great place to take out of town guests because of... More

Great restaurant right on the water. During the daylight hours float planes take off, land and dock right at the small water terminal attached to the restaurant. Beautiful sunsets can be seen as well. Service was excellent. Sunday nights there is a live DJ after 9. A must place to eat if you love a great atmosphere, cool location and... More

Best spot to view floatplane activity in Vancouver. If you're transiting to Vancouver Island then go by floatplane and you get to have a drink while you wait as the bar is right next to the Harbour Air check in. Food choice is standard Canadian ie everything comes in a bun with loads of fries, portions are huge but the... More

Take my advise, don't waste your time visiting this place.. Service was absolutely awful, and even after complaining to the so-called manager, who literally laughed in our face, we just got up and left.

If you like to watch aviation (Float planes) then this is the spot for you. The apps are great as well as the cold beer. Float planes depart it seemed like every 6-9 mins. Also, had the Beef Dip and it was very good. But my favorite was the potato skins and bacon.

Good food, good beer, good service, very loud if you are trying to visit. Fun atmosphere, a great place for a younger crowd. Shuttle back to the area hotels. Lots of taxi's coming or going so is easy to leave when you want. Right on the water across the street from the south terminal of YVR. Prices OK for Vancouver.

The place is always packed - the food must be good! Great appetizers and burgers. Be prepared to commandeer a table because it is seat yourself. It is worth the effort. And while you are there take a walk outside to watch the float planes being moved across the road.

A whole lot of fun. Foods fine, but not why you go. A great view over the water as the seaplanes come and go. Fresh air if you want and all ages present. Only drawback. Seating can be a bit of a free for all.

Had the opportunity to visit this pub during our stay on Vancouver for business. Watching the planes land in the water in front of the pub was great. It was fairly busy so we had to sit indoors, which is a shame as it was a gorgeous day. The beer was nice and cold and the wings were spot on.... More
