Came here twice within a week while visiting Vancouver and both times there was ALOT of people. I came back the second time to buy small gifts because I already knew what all the shops were selling from the first time I came. I loved the different options of food and waited in the long line to try the hurricane... More

I first need to clarify some information. There are two night markets in Richmond. I attended and am reviewing the one considered the “official” night market that is located at 8351 River Road, on grounds next to the River Rock Casino. It has only been located here a few years having moved from the previous location. The address you see... More

Having had a dreadful time the night before in Vancouver china town we made our way out by train to this market. it was well signed from the train station - you can see the market from the line, and then there are lots of staff in jackets to show you where to go. there was a bit of a... More

If you need socks or an phone cover get excited... otherwise go with good friends and be hungry and then you'll have fun. Don't wash your car the day you plan on going there, unless you want to be doing it again the next day as you'll be on dusty dirt or gravel roads to park. I'm sure there are... More

Good atmosphere. Great bubble tea and these 'fresh' potato chips/slices on a skewer (never seen this before) Mostly oriental cuisine with some dishes I'd never seen. The merchandise is mostly cheaper stuff but still worth rummaging through. Glad we went.

Come here for the food. And atmosphere. The rest of the crap they are selling you can do without. The vendor food is soooooo good! Enjoy!

We stopped by a few years ago and was let down. They moved since. Area is confusing to find on GPS but follow the signs. We were impressed. Many more vendors and such variety. Nice selection of food. Go early, it gets really busy and the lines get really long. Anything from stinky tofu to corn tubes filled with ice... More

We came here to ecperience the night market in Richmond which I was told would be a good one to visit, Alright, so I booked a one night stay in Richmond just to experience it. First, the parking was terrible and while there are a lot of traffic patrols around to control crowd and traffic, we had to park a... More

We stumbled on this outdoor market and enjoyed it a lot. There is a small entrance fee although seniors get in free. There was amateur entertainment -- a singer on stage -- the night we were there. Generally it is a carnival atmosphere and the people watching is the best. There are row upon row of booths selling everything from... More

The night markets in Asia were cheap, but the quality was decent. Here it is very hit or miss, with a lot of things very expensive to the overseas night market attender. The food is quite good, but be prepared for huge lineups! Bubble tea ranges from $4.50 - $6 usually, and bubble waffles were about $5. It may be... More
