We decided to visit with our nephew, who is from Taiwan. This temple is absolutely beautiful. It is great for anyone of any religion to come and learn about Buddhism. It doesn't cost anything, but we did leave a donation.

The architecture is amazing with a garden that was built according to the specifications of ones in China. Very peaceful coming here and there are explanations in English of the philosophy of Buddhasm and the descriptions of the buddhas.

I've been going to this lovingly tended temple for 12 years now. Every year there are updates, expansions, and improvements, many of the glittering gold. There are HUGE gold Buddha statutes, and a lovely serene garden to walk through. Incense wafts through the entire site and over Steveston Highway. There is lunch by donation on the weekends, cooked and served... More

Not sure what's in there that is special but each time I walk in, I feel relaxed and enjoy being in there. If you are a buddhist, this is definitely must see anyway. I suggest for anyone who is visiting or living in Vancouver even!

It is located very close to a noisy road, but once you are crossing into the site, you find an amazing quiet and charming place. Beatiful landscaping and great buildings full of collor and charm.

Beautiful monuments here, the garden is so nice. A great place to find calm and tranquility within its walls and beautiful gardens. The statues are massive and amazing. Also need to be respectful here where it says which areas your not allowed to take photos.

We stopped in the temple as an educational visit to learn more about other religious cultures. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and extremely well maintained. The detail work of the buildings, sculptures and other objects is really exquisite. This is quite the place to see and a good way to learn more about Buddhism, there are informational signs in various... More
