Wow! Great views.

We were blown away by the 360 degree views. An amazing sunset capped off the day. Such a wonderful way to see exactly where you are.

So I am an Aucklander so have been here numerous times! I love it.Easy walk up or lazy drive. The tunnels are cool but the council needs to open them all. Mt Victoria is huge . When I was a teenager there used to be raves here. Theres loads of entrances but most of them are situated in the back... More

If you are in the area, or go over to Devonport for dinner, take an extra hour and walk to the top for sunset. In terms of climbs around Auckland, nowhere near one of the biggest, so requires a bit less effort to get to the top. The views are great, and there is nothing like walking off a bit... More

The climb is worth it for the extensive views of Auckland and the harbour and out to sea. Take in the historical gun emplacements and fortifications as an added bonus.

During our recent visit to Auckland we took a drive up to Mount Victoria. The weather was so overcast it did not make sense to pay to see the views from Skytower or the bridge crawl. From Victoria you see nearly the same scenery and can relax in the park for as long as you like. Great photo ops!!

Well worth the effort of trying to find a parking spot, which we did reasonably easily, bring your camera!

Mount Victoria is a 15 min walk from the Devonport ferry terminal. Basically follow Victoria road and you can' t miss it, there is even a car park almost at the top for those unable to make the short uphill walk. The views at the top are stunning , 360 degree views of the city and surrounding islands. A must... More

This is an energetic climb to the top but well worth it for the panoramic views all around Auckland harbour and the city skyline. Has a bit if history to it as well with the 'disappearing canon' installed to repel the Russians. Great photographic choices from the top - give yourself an hour or so to complete the climb &... This is a steep climb and North Head is better with views of the Gulf and over Auckland Harbour and the City
