We visited Bramhall Park, primarily because our young grandson wanted to see the Annual Duck Race, arranged for charity. As expected, the park was absolutely packed but we took some time to wander around the park and view (from the outside) the hall and gardens. It is a couple of years since I last spent time in Bramhall Park and... More

The hall and the immediate garden is the only good thing about the park. The rest is becoming rundown and neglected. There has been a cutting down of trees and bushes and all the trunks have been left where they fell. Amazingly some of the most dangerous trees have been left and I suspect they like so many others will... More

The hall is currently closed for visitors until 2016 although you can still walk around the outside which is very beautiful. I am a regular visitor to the park where I walk with my dog a few times each week. It's just such a shame that both the hall and cafe are closed all year!

The park was once the most beautiful in the area, with magnificent gardens and woodland and loved by many of the locals and visitors in the UK and abroad. Unfortunately it is in decline and gardens are virtually gone, the grass areas suffer from masive drainage problems, the wooded areas has an unbelievable amount of fallen trees even in the... More

We got married at Bramall Hall and it was wonderful. Our guests loved the fact that they could have a tour around the Hall while we were signing our register!! The Hall and it's grounds are beautiful and there are always lots of people there. Just lovely to have a wander round when we get the chance!

If you find this review helpful, please acknowledge this at the end. I have been here so many times, it is a beautiful place to visit. You can choose to have a short or long walk and there are wooded areas, higher ground or a more relaxing stroll around the lake and watch the brook run under the various little... More

It has been a long time since I have been in the Tudor House, but from memory it was a fantastic building with plenty to see, Christmas is especially lovely. Fee to be paid for entry. My review is mostly for the grounds and cafe. Stunning views of the surrounding gardens and ponds with it's watery wildlife. A lovely walk... More

Have visited this beautiful house many times over the years. Would recommend for all ages. Ideal for all children to visit so they can see and understand for themselves what it was like during the Tudor era.

This beautiful building has parts of it dating back to the 14th century. Fortunately, after hundreds of years in ownership of the Davenport family, when a local industrialist Charles Nevil moved in in the late 19th century he preserved and restored the house superbly. The rooms are very well presented, particularly the chapel, with helpful, knowledgeable guides on hand. There's... More

Visited on 19/9/14 - lucky we did as it has received a grant for refurbishment & so will be closed from 1/10/14 until 2016 (May?) It is the most beautiful B&W timber Tudor house with a wonderful interior. I recommend visiting as soon as it re-opens
