Very interesting museum in the La Rioja wine country. If you like wine, you will find it very interesting. They have an English audio tour.

This was, by far, the most informative museum wine that I've ever seen/visited. Everything from the artifacts, videos, panels, books, sensory experiences made our trip worthwhile. Just last week I found a wine shop near me that sells Dinastia Vivanco crianza.

A nice museum with lots of artifacts and covering issues not so often found in wine museums, like the art pieces related with wine.

This is the most comprehensive wine museum I've ever been too. It needed more time than I gave it, arriving only an hour before closing. The included wine tasting at the end was a bit stingy though compared to what you get with other winery visits - only got to sample their standard red.

We took a day trip from San Sebastian and drove here. At first we had a hard time finding it, but perseverance paid off!! In the middle of this beautiful Rioja wine country is the very modern Museum of Viticulture. It is supposedly the largest of its kind in the world. There is every kind of display you could think... The location and architecture of this museum and vineyard can't be missed. So much to do and see with very friendly staff- fascinating corkscrew museum! The Taster menu in the restaurant is some of the most inventive and delicious food I have ever had. The gardens are interesting and the local village Briones also has the best chorizo in the... More

We spent a very enjoyable morning at the museum here when we stayed in Rioja last September. The museum is quite new and modern and extremely well curated. At the start of our visit we were able to view a film (in english) that introduced the winery and the museum. After that, we explored the museum. The exhibits cover all... More

We have visited the Dinastia Vivanco Museum and Gardens twice, most recently in October 2011. It is a beautiful and interesting museum on the history of winegrowing in Spain. The gardens of different vines are lovely. You can tour just the museum or the museum and winery. For us the museum is enough since there are so many other wineries... More

We made reservation for an English speaking tour at Dinastia Vivanco at the cost of €6.50 per person for two people. After a lengthy drive from San Sebastian to La Rioja, we went to the front desk to check in for the tour where we abruptly asked for €78. I initially thought I misheard, but it was then explained to... More
