Lovely grounds.

Whenever we are in this area we always come here even if just for the afternoon. Fantastic gardens round lake. Nice cups of tea at cafe. So nice.

The tickets for my grown up daughter and myself to visit the house, museum and gardens came to a total of £22. We had been advised to allow three and a half hours for the visit but we certainly could have been there all day. The grounds themselves are extensive with lakes, a stream and of course great trees and... More

We passed a lovely few hours. We did house, museum and grounds. With a family I'd take a picnic. As a couple we had tea on the tearoom. Leisurely stay. There are many acres to wander through. Children ran and played, racing their parents. There were no 'keep of the grass' signs. Great to see people having fun. The wardens... More

We came across this country fair last year, when it was wet and thought that with better weather we thought it would be better. We were right! Today it was warm, but of too sunny, but the fair was great, a good range of crafts, arts and the country life. Food was available- cheeses, meats breads all available to try... More

The Sandringham Estate has plenty of interesting features which should please most visitors. The House gives a good view of life as a royal, with good access to the living quarters which the royal family use regularly. The week before our visit, Prince Charles had been in residence; good thing we came a week later as the house will understandably... More

I visited Sandringham for the county park and the gardens. The car parking, church and the county park are free. The house, museum and gardens are not free. I purchased a ticket for the gardens and museum, costing £8. Tickets which include access to the house are extra on top of this. They don't offer a ticket for just the... More

If you want to see how the royal family live but can't afford Buckingham Palace or Windsor then this is the place for you. We loved the gardens and museum - the vintage cars are well worth the visit on their own. The house visit is interesting; there seem to be various displays that change from time-to-time in the ballroom.... More

Was very crowded the day we went & took ages to get in. The gardens are spectacular & the lead up to the house is lovely. The house itself is a bit of a let down (so much of it is not accessible). The Church is well worth a visit.

Dear oh dear what went wrong!! we are english and expect the rain but what a horrendous day of bad or lack of planning, hundreds of coaches and cars delivered thousands of people who having got through the ticket entrance were "corralled" into an impossible small area while it rained and rained with no place to shelter, no place to...
