Trevor Standever gave us a very detailed and passionate accounting of D-Day events as we toured the important locations relating to U.S. involvement. He is extremely knowledgeable and gave us the opportunity to experience D-Day through his stories. NOTE - consider taking a bottle of water or other beverage with you on this full-day tour. Trevor didn't offer any water... More

Please excuse the long write-up, but I need to go a little longer in order to provide fair positive coverage of the tour operator. While there are more than enough good reviews, I don’t want to shortchange the guide on the many good things that occur on this tour, which I’ll cover first. In a sentence, the tour material is... I am not a history buff, I am not even a lover of geography but Trevor made this tour interesting for me. He is so passionate about the events and sites that he brings an emotional element to the tour. Trevor is witty and kind, but doesn't take any bull$!%*! He knows his stuff and even throws in some surprise... More

Trevor Standefer's D-Day Tour was one of the highlights of our visit to France. I chose the one day tour because I was traveling with my wife and sister in law and they were not particularly interested in D-Day. After the tour they could not stop complimenting me on choosing to visit Normandy and the choice of Trevor as a... More

Trevor Standefer's American D-Day Tours is a 'real find' when you want the best and most effecient tour of all the events that happened during D-Day. Having a tour guide that attended American Schools with a French mother whose mother lived in Normandy during the invasion says it all. We were in France of a couple of weeks and had... More

Our introduction to Trevor was through a prior client, the son of our traveling companion, so we were preconditioned for an enriching experience. But little did we realize the breadth and depth of knowledge possessed by this proud son of both France and the USA. From the moment he picked us up at our hotel in Bayeux, Trevor assumed the... Note - the "average" rating is not for the tour's 'informational' aspect, nor ground covered -- it is the rating for our day-long 'experience'....which was not what we had expected. The guide definitely has knowledge and enthusiasm for his work. Plenty of information was forthcoming; however, we found him extremely rigid and very inflexible regarding our wishes, or any (even... My family and I spent nearly a month in Europe and without a doubt, our tour with Trevor and American D-Day tours was our overall highlight. That is saying a lot! Trevor was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and kind. He has a gift for storytelling and for being able to impart information that truly helps you to feel and meaningfully understand... More

Trevor is friendly, congenial, knowledgeable, helpful, wise, witty, clever and a great tour guide. In May his wonderfully informative tour was a highlite of the EU trip we 2 Oregonians, my partner & I, took with our SoCal friends. I recommend Trevor! You won't regret it. Jerry
