Anyone lucky enough to visit Normandy will never forget this experience. This is where our troops entered to fight the Germans and we lost many Americans. The cemetary is such a time of mourning yet celebration because I am so proud to be an American and definitely honor these troops for fighting for our country. Standing on the beach near... More

We took the 2-Day Guided Tour (American Perspective). Trevor met us at the train station, ready to roll!... With in 30mins of travel we found ourselves in the standing along side a river were American troops made a huge "Alamo" like standoff to stop the Germans from moving forward. The history lessons that we received and could see and touch... More

Our November one-day tour with Trevor was one of the best travel experiences we've ever had, and we are seasoned travelers with decades of travel and dozens of countries and tours under our belts. Two generations of family spent an engrossing day with Trevor. We learned so much--and we're amateur historians who thought we already knew what we needed to... More

For most of us, this is a one time event. Plan ahead, spend the money and do a top flight tour. Trevor was amazing from start to finish. Met my wife and I promptly at 830am at the Villa Lara in Bayeux and we arrived back at the hotel at 530pm. We were treated to an wonderful tour of the... More

Five adult siblings contacted Trevor and we were able to schedule a tour the next day. For 8 hours we drove through Normandy and heard commentary on the battles with much detail and enthusiasm. The van accommodated us and another couple comfortably. We did museums on our own. Would highly recommend this tour!

There are hundreds of tours everyday to the D-Day beaches and the area in Normandy that these battles took place, so for us to find such an excellent and enthusiastic tour guide as Trevor Standefer, was sheer good luck. Trevor is a student of D-Day and is a not only knows all the well known facts about the events, but... More

We booked an all-day tour with Trevor Standefer who took us in his comfortable van to several beaches and key D-Day sites. His knowledge, deep empathy and obvious passion for this period in history all worked together to create an unforgettable day. Trevor is a treasure chest of details and stories - one which brought us all to tears -... More

Our family of 5 (3 kids: 12, 14, 17) and my mother-in-law, thoroughly enjoyed our D-Day tour with Trevor. He covered all bases to make it interesting an educational for not only our kids, but my husband, me and our mother-in-law, who is from France. My dad had been in the invasion, so Trevor took special care to make point... More

Our day with Trevor was one of the highlights of our trip France. My husband and I had a private one-day tour in July 2015. We learned so much that day and enjoyed being with Trevor as we visited Sainte Mere Eglise, Utah and Omaha Beach, Pointe du Hoc and the US Military Cemetery. It was an amazing day of... More

We hired Trevor of American D-day Tours for a private one-day tour. Our family of 4 (kids 12 & 13) were amazed at his knowledge and thoroughly enjoyed our day with him. The day is LONG (9 hours), but he kept us interested and comfortable the entire time. Lunch is included (and delicious)! www.american-dday-tours.com
