Took my wife and 2 boys, for 'Special Birthday'. It was so good we went back the next day. Staff on hand to answer any questions, and are so kind. Walking round the fields is great exercise without you even knowing it. The donkeys are very entertaining, could have stood there for hours. Info on horsecare etc, nice little shop.... More

What a fantastic place. We took our two son's, and of course on the day we went the adopted pony and mule would not come over to say 'hello'. Grass! So, one of the members of staff offered to bring them to us! Simply wonderful. Staff are lovely, so helpful, and Angie in the gift shop was very helpful indeed.... More

I took my 9yr old grandson to this centre. It was very interesting and we learned a lot about horses , ponies and donkeys. It is very well run, the staff are very helpful and the animals are very well cared for.

We had a lovely stroll at this beautifully kept sanctuary. We were there for about an hour and a half. There was no pressure as to how much to donate and a small envelope was provided so that you could put your donation inside and post it into a box as you left. The yard and pastures were pristine. The... More

Lovely friendly atmosphere and free to get in although how you could leave without giving a donation after seeing the amazing work that all the staff and volunteers put in is beyond me. Luckily we visited on a dry day, I... More

Free, though feel very obliged to donate especially once you read the work they do when you walk round and see each animals profile. Children loved it.
