this beach is large and has plenty of parking and bathrooms close to the beach. it also has pine trees that make for some shade when you are done sitting in the sun. More

We were there pretty much every Summer. There are a lot of activities going on on the beach in Summer. If you have kids, this is a must do for your kids. There will be a lot of wild life to watch too. More

First time at Pope Beach, but won't be our last! Long beach with plenty of room for a busy weekend. There were plenty of BBQ's, tables, and parking... We got to the beach around 1:30 and we found a good spot right away.(on the beach and parking lot) Nice surprise finding a road side snack cart in the parking lot... More

This was a great value in a beautiful area. We were only charged a parking fee of $7.00. The beach was beautiful and the many bathrooms were very clean. Plenty of parking and plenty of space to spread out on the beach. There is food available from a food truck in the parking lot. THe truck offers pizza and hot... More

Pope beach is becoming a yearly visit for our family and we enjoy it every year. Located on the south shore of Lake Tahoe, it has a wonderful view of the lake and plenty of amenities. If you're camping at Camp Richardson, you can easily walk to Pope beach if your beach gear is mobile. Parking is also generally plentiful... More
