If you are 70 and over this over priced ride to emerald bay will sustain you...you do not have to worry about getting there early it is never on time.. be prepared to stand in the hot sun for an hour before you board. Make sure you either eat before you go or bring 100.00 for a bag of chips... More

The dinner cruise on the Tahoe Queen was truly lovely. A perfect warm evening and a nice sunset made us happy. There were flaws. The food was okay (choice of salmon or roast beef) and plentiful. The boat was sold out and therefore a bit understaffed. The staff was fine but slammed. For the money, we felt good about the... More

Initially was concerned with reviews I read. Our experience was pleasant. Boarding was efficient and we departed on time. Cruise was smooth and lake condition were comfortable. Sunny and cool. About an hour to emerald bay. Captain Augustine narrated Tahoe facts well. We were allowed to visit the pilot house and take pictures. Didn't have food or drink, but looked... More

Our review is this: you say "1:30 departure"... make us wait 45 min. in a line and, once onboard, we wait 30 min. for all the "late arrivals" to arrive...which is absurd -- one of their casino buses was late & we sit at the dock waiting and waiting. I would NEVER recommend this to ANYbody who thinks this is... More

The 312 passenger Tahoe Queen is an authentic Mississippi paddle wheeler cruising on the lake. The recently restored ship reflects the elegance and grandeur of early 1900. We've taken the daytime scenic cruise through Lake Tahoe to Emerald Bay. The views from the cruise ship around the lake were spectacular. The company provides a complimentary shuttle pick-up and drop-off service... More

I took the Tahoe Queen twice in one week...first with my teenage daughter on the day cruise and then with my husband on the dinner cruise. The service was great, the boat has a ton of character, the food on the dinner cruise was wonderful (salmon, prime rib, potatoes, salad, veggies, cobbler, bread pudding), and the band was fun and... There was a problem trying to book this trip online and on the phone. It finally worked out, but only after 2 phone calls while riding on the shuttle to the cruise. Zephyr Cove emphasized being early. We arrived at the dock 45 minutes early started boarding 15 minutes late. The cruise was 21/2 hours over beautiful Lake Tahoe. There... More

Our evening dinner cruise on the Tahoe queen was enjoyable and even though the wind picked up the ride was very smooth. Dinner was good and plentiful. Once we arrived at Emerald bay the captain was knowledgable in the history and highlights of the area.

With trepidation, we reserved for four adults going to Emerald Bay; Trip Advisor and other sites had mixed reviews. Reserving a charter was triple the price, so we decided to take a chance. The Tahoe Queen was almost full and we had a beautiful cruise! Our afternoon cruise left on time and there was the standard narration when appropriate; the... More

Coming to the pier I was shocked to see the Tahoe Queen so shabby and rusty. The outside of the ship urgently needs a paintshop. The inside is okay, service on the morning tour was lacking, maybe because we were only about 35 passengers on this tour.
