Great ideas and wonderful folks to have help you plan your excercise routine. Not easy to find folks that are helpful respectful and fun but it is if you go here!

Been here a few times over the years. A little small but they have enough cardio equipment and free weights/weight machines to go around. A little dated but staff and clients are always friendly. I like that they allow drop ins.

Punch card worthwhile for tourists. Fairly small, with somewhat older cable equipment, but plenty of free weights. Quite friendly. My wife and I always buy year-long memberships for less than $700 per couple.

I liked the selection of equipment and the people working the desk. The place has a day pass for $15 and though that is a bit pricey, I would use the facility again. It was also unusual to have dogs, of the patrons, in the gym. But that's South Lake Tahoe I guess. They were well behaved.

This is a great place to get some exercise while in the Tahoe area. It's conveniently located in the Tahoe Keys near the marina and has a great selection of workout equipment and classes. Working out and watching deer meander by was pretty cool. Some of the classes are held outside when the weather permits and the staff are very... More

I wanted to get a work out in while vacationing for a week in the Tahoe Keys. The staff was very welcoming both on the phone and during my visits. Its a small gym but they have everything someone would need to get a decent work out in from cardio equipment, free weights and spin classes. I could tell many... More

This is a really small gym, with a ton of equipment packed inside. They probably have everything you need, but often it's very crowded, and it's a very "social" gym. You always see someone you know, which to some people may be a good thing, but I go to the gym to work out, not socialize while I'm pink and... More

I admit it, I haven't stuck to my work out schedule as I promised myself. I'm a busy man though. It's tough being single, especially when you have muscles like I do because of the training these guys give me. I just need to get back to doing it because it only gets tougher being single throughout life.

We are in SLT on vacation. We joined SAC by buying a 20 visit pass for $160.00. The cardio equipment is OK. Good not great. The weight machines are also OK. The weights( barbells and etc ) are nearly professional quality. Overall a decent place to workout while on vacation. I workout 2 hrs per day 6-7 days a week... More

I frequently visit South Lake Tahoe and often while I'm there I get a short-term pass to Sierra Athletic Club. If you're coming from the city you'll need to keep your expectations reasonable, this is a city of 22,000 people that cannot support one of those monster 24 Hour Fitness or Gold's Gym type of gyms that has lots of...
