We took the cable car to/from the Glacier.. It was cold and the whole place was covered with snow. There was a round platform as lookout point. Due to the snow, we hardly could make out where the glacier was One TV station was having their outdoor shootout. Jiu Zai Gou was amazing, but the views here is a notch higher. Blanketed with thick snow in April. Even had a chance to see a Tibetian village and have tea there. We went there on the way back from Huanglong/Jiuzhaiguo to Chengdu. The road to reach the Heishui, or the town where the hotels are, is a bit scary, rockfall from steep hillsides is waiting to happen, but we made it with no problem.
