Park was great , we took two 5 year olds and a 3 year old. It was a special offer deal so for 2 adults and 3 children we paid £80. Plenty of little rides but then as you get further into the park adults need to accompany the children on the rides, but that's fine. Nice and clean around... More

We visited Lightwater Valley last week & found it very disappointing. Entering the theme park was a breeze but we had to queue so long for some rides. My boys wanted to go on the Eagles Creek Farm ride which is one of the mega adventure rides for age 5-9 years...my boys are aged 7 & 8 were bored on... More

Me my partner and my 4 year old visited on 10/04/15 and was highly disappointed. I would highly reccomend anyone wanting to visit to spend a bit extra and go to flamingo land not too far from there. The toilets in the park were filthy with flooring peeling away wich I was surprised with having been so early in the... More

Having a 7yr old boy we decided to go to lightwater so we could all enjoy the rides as a family, we love Alton towers but it is a waste to go there and tell him he can't go on half the rides because he is too small slightly. LWV gives the best of all worlds and surprisingly had an... More

Went here with the kids and they loved it. The choice of rides for kids aged 5-10 or 1metre to 1.3 meter is good both my elder kids 7 and 8 loved it and the son even braved the ultimate and loved it! Staff where amazing with us as I'm disabled they were very helpful. Had such a fun day... More

Went with a 9 and 12 year old and this park was perfect they could get on everything and nothing was too scary for them even The Ultimate think I was more scared than the children. The park is only small we managed to go round twice as there were no queues which the kids loved as they could go... More

Had a great day at Lightwater Valley. Would advise buying your tickets in advance as we paid a premium for not thinking about it and buying them on the door. Our kids are 6 and 7 and they really enjoyed it, although they are at the funny age where they want to go on the big things but are too... More

We ordered the tickets online and got a discount. If you are not sure how tall your child is and perhaps he or she is under 1 meter tall, pay the lesser amount!, no one checks when you enter. We all had a fab time and the weather was great, if it was cold and wet I am sure we... More

Wasn't sure what we would be getting having read some stuff on here & elsewhere but really very pleased all round. Bought tickets online day before - 3 'payers' - me, a 9yr & a 6yr and an OAP (free!) for just over 50 quid, would have been nearly 80 on the gate. Website seems rather slow in all areas?... More

Thank you for your kind review. Glad to read that you had a Top day out. Some of our bigger rides like The Ultimate run much better (smoother and faster) once the track heats up so this is why we need to run the ride a few times before letting guests on. We try to do this before the park... More

We had internet discounted tickets for the 3 of us but I would have said that the pay on the day price was more than reasonable if you have children under 12 now that I have visited on a nice sunny April day. The place is clean and tidy and 99% of the staff are friendly and helpful it approached.... More
