We visited here last week, with my 2 teenage daughters. Its always a good day out and the park can be done in a couple of hours leaving some time to spend strolling around checking other things out. The ultimate I think im getting too old for this, it did knock me about quite a bit and I did come... More

This is the second review on Lightwater Valley I have written. Me and my friends decided to visit on the first monad of the summer school holidays. We expected the theme park to be extra busy, but were pleasantly suprised as it was quiet. There was not much time wasted standing waiting for the rides. I would recommend this theme... More

We visited with our two children 6 yrs and 4 yrs. It was my daughter's birthday she is six. We found the park very clean and well kept, the toilets were clean and pleasant. There weren't any wasps about which is a big bonus. The park is very nicely spread out but isn't a massive hike from one area to... More

The park has average rides, so it may not be one for thrill seekers. It is great for families because there is a lot to do. The Ultimate is very rickety and can hurt knees/ribs so take care on it. Fun day out, although I am quite disappointed most of the shops don't take card in this day and age.

If we had paid full price I would have been very dissapointed there is not many rides for children some are baby rides which my daughter found boring.there should be more rides for children... More

We have now visited LWTP twice and both times have had a fantastic experience. This is place where if you expect good its great. I have seen people on here criticise the staff for their age etc but I can assure you they are very mature and accommodating for their 'age'. Some of the rides are old but not Blackpool... More

Went last week just before the schools broke up with hubby, a 3yr and 15 month old. We were under the impression from friends that had been before that you could just pay to go in the Angry Bird play park, but it turns out this is just winter months. So we ended up paying £69 for the 4 of... More

Really nice and spacious park in a beautiful setting and very tidy. Good mix of rides for all ages. The Ulitmate Roller coaster is amazing even after all these years. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere in the park with pleasant staff. You can take a picnic in and sit by the lake. Book online in advance for a lower admission price... More
