we went to the nature park as part of our visit to kuala selangor. it was advertised as a great place for bird watching, however, we hardly saw 3 types from afar. instead, we had to look down to avoid stepping on poop in the walkway. it was hot and tiring, and we barely saw any animals. our only consolation... We came upon this park by chance on way to the Lighthouse and we were so glad we did. It costs only RM 4 each and is well worth it for the chance to see some amazing wildlife free-range. The staff gave us a short talk about what we would potentially see in the park and gave us safety advice.... More

As nature lovers, My family of me, my husband and two adult children enjoyed this tour to the max. First our guide took us to a hill where a very old light house was built by the Dutch when they were in Malaysia. we had to wait for an open train to take us up the hill, while waiting make... More

We've walked the paths around and loved the nature. We saw the brahminy kite, monkeys (macaques), monitor lizard, mudskippers and crabs. The mangrove forest was interesting.

I've been to this beautiful little park several times and each time enjoyed it, but wished that there could be a little more effort put in. Despite there being an abundance of wildlife - - birds, mudskippers, sea snails, monkeys, the occasional lizard - the park is essentially unmaintained . The first time we visited, we couldn't even find anyone... More

Excellent park. For a small fee RM 4 we were able to spend two hours walking the trails, coming across macaques, spotting mudskippers and crabs. You have to brave the initial trail out to the first bridge when the mangrove trail begins. There the mosquitos don't seem to follow. After that it is pleasant walk, mostly shaded though I would... Managed by the Malaysian Nature Society, this small park in the mangrove forest has an incredible variety of birds. You might not always see them, but for sure, you'll hear them. There's one trail that goes through 3 different zones: from a hide you can overlook the man-made, brackish water lake - you can see plenty of monkeys in the... More

We bought a 4RM-ticket (per person) and went into the "park". It was nice to walk on the tree-lined path. However, we were mostly welcomed by mosquitos! The silver leaf monkeys (except one) were afraid of and stayed away from us. We barely saw other animals there. My friends and I were the only visitors in the "park" the whole... More

Some good birds, useful towers for bird watching and helpful staff. Lagoon lacked any water, while there needs to be a path to the mudflats.
