We took the ferry from Tewantin to Noosa to spend the day at Hastings street. It was a fun interesting way to travel to Noosa and we left it until late in the afternoon so that we caught the sun setting on our way back. Great information about the area, it's history and environmental issues, beautiful views and a very... More

Took the Eco cruise last Tuesday, what a treat. Captain Andy is a local science teacher (was he wagging school??), so was able to explain the ecology, bird life and point out underwater activities. Being a long time local, he was also able to intersperse the educational commentary with bits and pieces about the many amazing houses along the waterways.... More

Caught the ferry from the Tewantin Marina to Noosa Heads at lunchtime. Friendly and informative captain, pointing out information on the social aspects, history, environment and real estate along the way. Did some walking around the Heads and returned on the second-last ferry. They leave every hour, so very convenient to plan a day away from the car (and all... More

This is definitely a MUST do if you're in the Noosa area. The view of the sunset from the top deck of the ferry was just stunning! The cruise from Noosa Sheraton wharf return was just over an hour, but I boarded at the Tewantin jetty...so took just over 2 hours. The ferry took us into waterways and creeks nearby... More

We got the ferrry from the Sheraton. There's 4 or 5 stops you can get off if you wish. We cruised on into the Marina where there is a 40 minute stopover. Just enough time for a glass of wine at the River Lounge. Capt Jono is very funny and quite obviously loves his job. He was training a new... More

Thanks Del for your lovely review of our ferry cruise. As you suggested the ferry is an easy way to explore another side of Noosa outside of Hastings Street in an unhurried manner. Many people use our boats to go to restaurants in evening or take a Sunset Cruise - the waterway is so beautiful don More

We picked up the Noosa Ferry at the T-Boats stop and got off at Hastings Street Noosa where we spent about an hour and a half browsing through the shops. We then got back onto the ferry and had a very enjoyable cruise up the river to the Tewantin Marina where we had lunch over looking the Marina. After lunch... More

Great way to get around while in Noosa. Many stops along the river. Good way to take in the amazing views as well as listen to the commentary from the skippers. Skippers are friendly and helpful. We also did the byo sunset cruise - well worth it!
